ALT CONSTRUCTION

A few years ago Alt Construction completely renovated our house, including the extension, and we were very happy to call them back for a pitched roof leak repair at the rear of our property. Once again, the team were professional, quick and very experienced. They completed the work with care and minimal disruption, and clear communication: we are very pleased with the result. We definitely recommend Alt Construction for their professionalism, speed and expertise.

Last year we decided to have our attic space converted into a bedroom/bathroom and also have the existing bathroom completely redone. We employed a local architect (Elena Rowland, who I also highly recommend), who having previously worked with Alt Group construction recommended that we use them to do the build. Largely on this basis we decided to chose Alt Construction for our project. It was a very good decision. The build was completed bang on time, it was within the agreed budget (there were one or two unforeseen extra expenses such as discovering the existing tiles contained asbestos so had to be replaced), and the workmanship was exceptional, to the extent that we have not had to have any snagging done since completion. The crew who did the build were highly experienced and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Alt Construction to anyone who is thinking of doing a similar project.

Very good experience renovating my flat with Alt Construction. Despite extent of the work, tight deadline and budget, the team were extremely quick (unbelievably so in fact :)), responsive to my concerns and well coordinated between all the different aspects of the renovation (rebuilding layout, electric, plumbing, finishes). Smooth communication with all members of the team. Not the cheapest quote, but there were no big surprises over the course of the renovation - so credit to Marcello for anticipating issues in time and preparing me for them. Thanks a lot Karol & Tommas - loving living in my new home.

We hired Alt Construction for a particularly complex renovation project in central London - a nearly 100-year-old leasehold flat with all the constraints that come with working in a conservation area, managing freeholder approvals, and operating within a tightly controlled residential block. From day one, the team showed an exceptional level of professionalism, patience, and expertise. They navigated restrictions, leasehold requirements, and building quirks with confidence and clarity, keeping us informed at every stage. No challenge was too big - whether structural or logistical, they found solutions quickly and with zero drama. The workmanship was outstanding, with attention to detail that you rarely come across. Just as importantly, they were respectful of the building and our neighbours. This was not a straightforward job, and Tommas/Karol/Marcello handled it with the kind of care and experience that gives you real peace of mind. I would highly recommend them to anyone taking on a high-spec, high-complexity renovation, especially in a central London setting.

Alt Construction, led by Tommas, did an outstanding job on the plumbing and fitting for our pasta bar, Nonna Mamma, inside Selfridges. They expertly followed Selfridges' internal guidelines, ensuring the work met all requirements while maintaining top-quality standards. The team was professional, efficient, and delivered the project on time and within budget. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Alt Construction for any plumbing and fitting needs. Nonna Mamma Pasta Bar

We had an amazing experience working with Alt Construction for our renovation. The quality of the finish is really high and they always went to extra effort to make it perfect. They also helped guide us through the process and answer lots of questions. They are very reliable and considerate and we would definitely use them again!

Excellent work done on our Edwardian conversion flat. We had a full renovation done with changes to the layout. Alt Construction had a whole team of specialists handling structural changes, plumbing and full electric rewiring. The team led by Tommas kept us updated every step of the way and he dealt with building regs. when it came to permissions and worked very well with our architect. Immaculate finishes, we are so happy with the whole experience and would definitely recommend Alt Construction. Thanks a lot.

Expertise and good communication is what Alt Construction are known for and they live up to their reputation. Tommas Rullo is one of the owners and he personally project managed our side-return extension. He made sure we were happy each step of the way. It’s a big decision to do an extension, but if you decide to do it, you can’t go wrong with Alt Construction. They did an amazing job and also did the little things like providing us with a temporary set-up for our dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. This made living through the work less stressful. They delivered to their timeline and budget and made sure everything was expertly done. We’re planning future projects and will go directly to Alt Construction for this work.

I used Alt Construction for a major renovation project in a conservation area and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Marcello and his team exhibited the utmost professionalism and expertise throughout the entire process. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, they demonstrated a deep understanding of their craft and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. In my situation, I found very helpful their advices with regards to architectural aspects and technical matters (reduce humidity, ventilation, and how to upgrade the EPC rating in a cost conscious but also effective way). The quality of their work is truly unparalleled. Every detail was meticulously attended to, and the finished product exceeded all of my expectations. Moreover, the team's honesty and transparency were truly refreshing. They provided invaluable advice and guidance, always keeping my best interests in mind. What truly sets Alt Construction apart is their reliability. They consistently met deadlines and were able to get the job done efficiently without compromising on quality. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is evident in every aspect of their work. The team is very well organised and has a network of experts for each jobs (from windows changes to floor renovation and to architects). In my case, Elena was very knowledgeable on the planning process and on top of the latest regulations, which in these times, it is no small feat. I am happy to recommend Alt Construction to any landlords in the UK because it is rare to find competent and trustworthy professionals in the property renovation and construction industry.

I'm really impressed with the workmanship of ALT carried out for our loft conversion. We didn't think we'd be able to create a good loft space but our architect advised us on the best design and ALT completed the project with very good finishes. They were always available to speak to us during the whole renovation and always took our ideas on board. They were not the cheapest, but we were really happy with the results and believe the cost was worth every penny. We were considering moving home but now we feel really comfortable as ALT have help create the sanctuary we now love to live in. Highly recommended.

Alt Group Construction built a rear extension and carried out internal renovation in our family home, the team was recommended by a family friend who had a few works done by them and their architect in the past. The team on site was led by Tommas who looked after every single task and challenge of project which made us feel safe. All turned out great and I can only recommend this company!

ALT Construction handled my newly purchased flat renovation exceptionally well. They helped to bring my plans for reshaping my space to a reality. I needed an extra space for home working and they made some good suggestions on how to design it in a way that made it really functional without my flat feeling pokey and small. They offered trade discounts so I relied on them for the purchase of all finishes. I also didn't have to worry about the communications with building controls, the council and structural engineer. All in all I'm really happy with all of the Team's work, plus they were friendly which also helped me because I felt they had everything under control. Shout out to Marcello ! The operations guy, always keeping me in the loop with things. Thank you so much.
