“Austin was absolutely amazing to work with! We had an issue with our water pressure reducing valve that caused all our pipes to hum along with a leaky shower head faucet. He got us in the schedule quickly and finished all the work within a day! No more humming walls and leaky shower- woohoo! He’s extremely detailed in his work and very professional. “I hired Steve and Jeffrey out of 7 contractors that I had interviewed. I chose them because they were personable, knowledgeable, had good energy, and listened to what I was asking to be done. I have an older home and wanted an update and changes made without taking away from some of the unique characteristics that I fell in love with in the first place. Steve and Jeffrey offered suggestions and worked with all of the issues we came across in a professional manner. When issues did arise, they were quick to resolve them. They were very fair when it came to the cost of any additional, unforeseen work. In addition, the crew that worked on my home were great. I never felt uncomfortable when they were in my home and I always trusted them to be in my home when I couldn't be there.”

“During the bidding process, I was a bit put off by their name.....Luxury.....it sounded expensive to me....but their bid turned out to be very competitive for the scope of work. I am very pleased with my project. The tile team, Johnny and Nelu, were especially impressive. The entire remodel team was friendly, customer oriented, and professional. Sam was also very accommodating. Jerzy made the bidding and materials selection process painless. The project was completed on the schedule they laid out at the beginning, and it was great to be able to follow the details of my job's schedule, financial, procurement, change orders, etc. on their website. They handled the inevitable snags in a job this size quickly and efficiently. I hope to do my other bathroom with them next spring.”

“I was contacted by Jon Clark @ Maple Avenue Construction to bid on our kitchen cabinet remodel. We were working under a very tight budget and a very tight timeline as our old home was already sold and we needed to be out of the old home by close of escrow. The remodel was at demo stage when Jon and I first discussed my needs so a lot needed to happen very quickly. Jon and I worked together on the layout and design I desired and through collaboration and recommendations achieved the kitchen of my dreams. When it was time to install our kitchen, Jon made sure the cabinets were on time and perfectly installed. All of the design ideas, sizes and styles were correct and fit just as planned. Once the cabinets were in Jon worked with me to make sure the countertops to be decided set off the kitchen beautifully. I was not crazy about driving from the west side of town to Tempe; however, Jon assured me I would be happier if I made the drive to select my own countertop and slabs. He was absolutely correct! It was eye-opening when I realized the number of options available. Jon was patient and available to answer any questions I had regarding the cabinets and countertops, process for each and any monetary questions. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Maple Avenue Construction if you are seeking a partner for your remodel.”

“We hired Scott Gormley of Acumen Builders to be our general contractor for an extensive kitchen remodel. Our project involved a large amount of demolition and included removing a load-bearing wall, raising the ceiling height, and relocating a substantial portion of the HVAC and electrical components from below the joists to the roof (a flat roof). Before we even formally hired Scott, he made several visits to our residence to assist in the planning phase--even going to a nearby open house to see what we liked and disliked about a remodel that mirrored our floor plan. Throughout our project, Scott listened to our concerns, was knowledgeable, dependable, and used highly qualified subcontractors; he promptly paid the other trades immediately after receiving his own progress payments. The project turned out great, as you can see in the photos of "Lola's Timeless Kitchen"! We do not hesitate in recommending Scott Gormley and Acumen Builders for any of your building needs!”
