“I have used Lubo (IDL contractors), on several occasions including a complete bathroom refit, to decorate a bedroom and living room, and to give the kitchen a facelift. On each occasion I've been very satisfied with the quality of the work done, the value for money, and the accuracy of the timescale given. I had originally planned to just do a few bits to the bathroom but was given such a reasonable quote to do the whole thing, I went with that option instead. Lubo is also very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, even giving me a photo album documenting the bathroom job step-by-step at the end! Overall, I'd highly recommend IDL contractors (all the people sent to work on the flat were of a high standard), if you want to deal with a company that is honest, knowledgeable, reliable and reasonable.”

“One of the biggest issue when having to rely on or work with contractors is their ability, or lack thereof, to communicate. “We used Tommy and his team, Fixup, on the recent refurbishment of our family home. We now have an amazing four bedroom home, with a new ensuite and perfect family ground floor living. They converted an old garage into a new kitchen and extended the back of the property to allow for a sitting room and dining area with a new downstairs loo. We also have new bedroom wardrobes they they made and fitted. Tommy was great to work with and problem solve design solutions that best suited our needs and budget. The team have a high standard and work around any problems that arise. The team had to work around us living in the space for the end of the project and kept the working areas clean and safe for our children. We also worked with an architect that the company had work with on previous projects, this relationship was one that I would recommend as they knew each other. The Fixup team had lots of patience as we had a few delays due to party wall agreements etc. We love the end result of our home and this was the result of working so closely with Tommy. We have recommended him to other friends and will continue to do so. My daughter said that "Tommy worked really hard, he is very clever, does everything right and he was very nice, they did a pretty good job" May aged 6.”

“We were recommended to Brown Construction by Woods of London in Blackheath whilst looking for our kitchen for our project. Once we had met Adam and were reassured by him that we could achieve what we wanted for our project (having been advised by other builders that we were unable to do so). We knew that Brown Construction were the best people to proceed with, they were easy to deal with and always offered good advise in all areas. Our project was managed brilliantly by James, the whole team were fabulous they left site every day and it was clean and tidy we couldn’t have been happier. We have since recommended Browns to a number of friends and colleagues.”

“A double storey extension comprised of a large double ensuite bedroom with two pairs of French doors, each opening onto a cantilevered balcony; tiled utility area with toilet and an ensuite shower added to an existing bedroom. Roof was tiled with Kent pegs to match existing. Extension was painted, inside and out. The exterior walls and windows of the main house were also painted to match and any repairs were carried out. Pink and Black provided a bespoke service and sourced many of the unique features that complemented the new space. In addition, Pink and Black were also very patient with last minute change of plans. I decided not to move out of the house whilst the work was carried out. The friendliness and respectfulness of all the guys involved in the building processs helped to make the situation of builders in the house less invasive, in fact I missed them when they finally left.”

“We cannot speak highly enough of I D Smith Construction Services. We instructed them to fully refurbish our 1930s semi with the addition of a single storey extension. The project included new external render, full rewire, replumb, fresh plastering, new roof, bespoke carpentry, new gravel driveway, new kitchen and new bathrooms amongst many other items. There's not much these guys can't turn their hands to. We found Ian and his team a pleasure to deal with. They were reliable and trustworthy and most importantly delivered an excellent finish throughout. As is inevitable with major building work we did incur additional, unforeseen costs but these were reasonable and proportionate and Ian kept us informed throughout. What we loved in particular was Ian's ability to find solutions to any problems we encountered. His calmness throughout the project helped keep our stress levels down. We hope to work with Ian, Kieron, Phil and Stuart again in the future (possibly a patio) once we have saved up! Highly recommended.”

“I Love working with the guys at D & T Carpentry. They have a great eye for detail and really work with you and your ideas on any project you undertake. They seem to be respected by architects and buildings regulators to - which gives you reassurance!. Nothing is too much for them and they go the extra mile to ensure your project, however large or small, gets done on time and to budget! Here are some pictures of a recent project. Double story side extension and single story kitchen extension. Still waiting for more photographs but here is my kitchen extension.”
