“I can not start to tell you how amazing Roddy Sample is. My kitchen did not have room for an island. I interviewed many contractors and all said it was not possible. Roddy asked what I wanted and he made it happen. I have an award winning kitchen. I have a perfect kitchen. Roddy gutted my kitchen and moved the counters back to allow for an island. He allowed us to live in our home during the renovation which included redoing the hardwood floors on the main living area.Roddy set up an area with all the conveniences of home. Renovation with Roddy Sample is fun! He is a very detailed contractor. There is never a punch list because he does the job correctly and completely the first time. I had picked handles for my fridge, Roddy looked at them and showed me his concern, due to the width I would not be able to get my hands around them comfortably, so I found a smaller width,I love even more and am able to comfortably open the doors. I cannot stress the importance of his eye for detail. Every nook and cranny is usable in my kitchen! I love my kitchen! I look forward to my closet renovation! Roddy also completed my master bath, I love my bath as much as my kitchen! Roddy has also installed hardwoods in my master bedroom . He has updated our lighting to led. I wanted to texture my walls myself. Roddy helped me by building a scaffold in the stairwell so I could reach to the ceiling safely. I feel so blessed to have met him. I called Marty Byrum with Alabama Builders Association when I was having trouble with local contractors ,Marty hooked me up with Roddy Sample and my life has never been the same! Owner Harrison awesome to work with, very accessible, responsive and knowledgable. Very reasonable in price. Will use them to ciean/stain/repair deck and replace windows in Spring.”
