“We have used Ben on 2 occasions now, firstly for an orangery in 2016 and just recently for a loft conversion and we have been very impressed with the level of service on both occasions. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, hardworking, and friendly. On our most recent project he recommended raising the roof to give us more height in the loft space, we were quite reluctant to do this initially as it entailed removing the whole roof and rebuilding it but we trusted his judgement and we were so glad we did, the end result is so much better than we could ever have imagined. Communication was great, even though he has a busy schedule he always found time to answer questions, and he took care of so many elements which made the whole project so much easier for us, from sorting out the planning applications to finding us an excellent and reliable builder. Would highly recommend.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of Ecclesall Design. We approached them 2-3 years ago seeking advice on how to deal with defects to our house, exacerbated by a very exposed position. The prepared solution involved significant building work. They obtained Building Regulations approval and provided an upgraded specification for the work that went beyond building regulations requirements in order to better address the exposed location. We had lots of questions and Sue Humphreys answered all our emails promptly with detailed answers and advice. Then covid hit and the building work was delayed until September 2022 due to the backlog of work it created for our builder. Once it started we quickly encountered a problem with the Councils Building Control who were now asking for an approach to an aspect of the work that we felt would compromise the objective. After struggling with this problem for a few days I contacted Sue for advice, not really feeling I should have much expectation as it had been a couple of years since she completed the task we had hired her for. Sue responded immediately. She held discussions with the builder and Council over a couple of days and agreed a way forward that was satisfactory to all parties. We were delighted. Sue even thanked me for giving her the chance to resolve the problem. Ecclesall Design have provided great service right through our project.”
