“From start to finish, I was very impressed with James' professionalism. When giving the quote, he listened carefully to what I wanted and, when asked, offered some very good suggestions! James was very upfront with the cost of the job; the price I was quoted was the price that I paid. Furthermore, he was clear about when the job would start and how long it would take. He and his workforce were very friendly and professional throughout. I would certainly recommend James' services. I felt that what I was quoted for the work he completed was fair, the work was done to a very high standard and was completed on time. A very happy customer!”

“Ian and his team at IMS building have created us the most amazing family home, and transformed it from the 1970s into a stunning modern day home. Ian helped us from start to finish with ideas and suggestions, and had a full team of trades available that he trusts to do the job. Ian built the extension during Covid and although there were delays due to areas outside of his control, he was honest to the price he quoted and always kept us updated, which we were most grateful for. Ian listened to ideas we had and was happy to take on extra work as the project progressed. Ian was true to the work he quoted for, ensured the project passed building control and was flexible to make changes as the build and internal work progressed. We can't thank Ian and all at IMS enough for the fantastic family space they have created for us.”

“James and Pat and the team built our two storey extension in 2015. They did a great job, on budget (always extra costs for unexpected work or changes to our ideas)! We were really pleased to have JP McDonagh do the work having approached half a dozen builders locally for quotes. The team were reliable and considerate (our 2nd child was born halfway through the build in true Grand Design's style!). They were on site every day they said they would be. It was good to have a single point of contact in James and the breakdown of quote and invoices meant we knew exactly where we were with the costs. There were minimal issues and the minor problems with sub contractors were all resolved through James or Pat which meant a hassle free build for us. They are clearly experienced and knowledgeable and were able to suggest different ways of doing things which made the outcome even better. Would use again and have recommended to others.”
