“NOT YOUR AVERAGE BUILDERS!! Elliott construction undertook a major project for us and we are delighted with the results. they are a very professional team. Pre-work We looked at 5 different building companies and Elliotts were the only ones who came with a fully costed project plan and timeline from the first meeting. Before the building work started we purchased a caravan to live in onsite whilst the work was ongoing, the team helped us get this set up and installed a dedicated water and power supply to the van. During the build As with any project, things change as you progress, we made a few design changes along the way and again, the team at Elliotts worked with us and advised on how best to achieve the desired outcomes. One of the dreaded things with any project is that the builders wont turn up, in all honesty we lost around 2 days and this was only due to bad weather and on one occasion completely unforeseen circumstances which we were accepting of....but if anything we gained more days as some of the team worked over bank holidays (after checking we were ok with that). The site was left in great order every night which helped reduce the stress of the project too. The finished build is amazing and a family home that we absolutely love.”

“The project was a single storey extension, with complete re-design of our ground floor. Andrew visited our property to take extensive internal and external photographs and measurements, and discuss with us at length what we were hoping to achieve. He produced a design / plans and was patient whilst we asked for a couple of minor amendments and asked lots of questions. He was always quick to respond by 'phone and email. He then successfully took us through the planning process with the local council, and produced building control plans which were approved by the council, and used extensively by our builders. We would use Andrew again should we have a future project, and recommend him wholeheartedly.”

“We worked with Edwina from Kimble Roden on a single story extension, downstairs re-model, new kitchen and interior design project at our house. Scheme was worth around £125k including fees. The scope was end-to-end covering initial design, securing of all relevant permissions, engineering / structural input, requirements gathering, tendering process, contractor sourcing and selection, contractual agreement, and on-going project / contract management of the scheme from commencement to conclusion including final interior design advice. After meeting a number of local architects, we selected Kimble Roden based on their recent projects and their sensible fee structure but above all, their understanding of what we wanted to achieve and their vision for what we could do. From an initial high-level design Edwina worked with us to refine this so that it was within budget and helped source and contract with a reputable local builder. Edwina managed the contractor and the build process, approving stage payments as we went and delivered the scheme on time, on budget and to an outstanding finish, Based on the relationship we had built with Edwina, we placed our 100% trust in her to deliver. This extended to interior design, colour schemes, materials, finishes and fixtures and fittings.
