“I was unexpectedly faced with a significant construction project as a result of wear and tear and water damage. the entire front porchway and second floor deck as well as a retaining wall needed immediate work. I contacted Mr. LaPuma who came out and assessed the situation. He gave me a true estimate that was financially competitive and accurate as to time. He was true to his word and started the job, after full permitting, on the day he had proposed and finished the job within one day of his original projection. it is rare to find a true professional in the construction trades --- Dream Builderz and Mr. LaPuma are such professionals. “I'm happy to give Scott Curtice my strongest positive recommendation. Our project went quite smoothly, staying on schedule thanks to the fact that my office is in the house and Scott's commitment to providing a foreman. This enabled us to make decisions quickly and address problems promptly. Scott and his crew showed a lot of creativity in meeting our requirement to stay in the house during the renovation, to the extent of setting up a temporary kitchen and shower in the basement. In the end, we only had to be out of the house for about a week. He was also very good about coordinating with our architect and the cabinetmaker that we selected ourselves. Having heard a few horror stories of renovation cost overruns, I think we also did well in this respect. Our final figure was about 10% more than the initial estimate due to the kind of unforeseen issues that can be expected on any such project, along with a few changes that we ordered. The level of detail Scott provides in his constantly updated spreadsheet also helped us to make some decisions that reduced our cost.”

“Provost Landscaping has been taking care of our lawn, shrubs, sprinkler system since our previous company closed. They fixed our sprinkler system which had been a huge problem for many years and planted arborvitae against our back fence along with much beds and it’s own sprinkler system.”

“We cannot imagine that any group could have done better in renovating our 1862-built home than Gary Streck CRM, Inc. They oversaw a top-to-bottom refitting of a home that was poorly lit, had knob-and-tube wiring, lacked central air conditioning, and had the original Victorian woodwork (which while beautiful showed the ravages of time). They had access to skilled artisans who brought care and imagination to the thousands of puzzles posed by making a house modern but preserving period detail. Bathrooms were remodeled, a state-of-the-art home theater was created, and a whole floor was reconstructed. Gary Streck CRM kept them on the job, on deadline, and within budget. Always professional and always setting the highest standards for any of the jobs performed. Thanks to them, we know that we live in an historic home but remain warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and well lit. The "Old World" level of craftmanship is evident in every room. It was quite an accomplishment for Gary Streck CRM and worthy of the Golden Prism Award for Best Historic Renovation in 2013.”

"Received daily emails regarding progress and/or upcoming information/meetings. Quick response/resolution to any concerns/changes requested. Clear breakdown of allowances/estimates, including any change orders. Friendly, and reliable from start to finish. Which is a huge comfort for a family having work done in their home - especially with young kids. Great follow through with open items at the end of the job.
