“Over the last three years McLennan Contracting has completed three major renovation projects for us. All exceeded our expectations, were on time, and within budget. The work, all of excellent quality, included creating an open concept kitchen and living room, a major family room renovation, and a small attached apartment refresh. In the open concept project, the scope included the design and construction of a custom glass/oak/and steel railing, removing an interior wall, rerouting electric and air conditioning, and building a custom island. The family room project included a complete new ceiling with pot lights, new drywall, new outlets and switches, refacing a dated brick fireplace and installing a new granite hearth, and the conversion of a hinged interior door to a sliding barn door. Work in the apartment included closing up an existing door opening and installing a pocket door, installing pot lights and celling fans, and installing an in-wall electric fireplace. “We used Musser to build what will be our retirement home. When we began the process we discuss our needs with many builders and found that Musser was the easiest to work with to get everything we wanted. For them nothing was an issue. Our home was built with no steps coming into the home and 36" doors throughout. There were many other things we wanted that his suppliers were also very happy to help with. The kitchen is equipped with all under counter drawers so that we do not need to get down and craw into the cabinet to find what we need. These were built into the cabinets and not cheap add-on racks that some builders wanted to use. The plumber and electrician were also very helpful in making sure everything we wanted and needed happened. We did the flooring in hardwood and vinyl and the installers made sure there were no thresholds at the transitions that we might trip over or might cause problems if we had walkers or wheelchairs in the future. When we would visit the site during construction any of the contractors that were working there were always interested in what we thought. They always wanted to know if there was anything we were concerned about. Not to say that there were no issues during the build, but everyone was addressed and resolved before the home was completed. At final walk through the builder found minor issues that we had not seen and made sure everything was corrected. Everything was address and corrected within two weeks of our taking over the home. Needless to say we were very pleased and enjoy living in this home. We would suggest Musser to anyone looking to build a quality home.”

“Perron Construction built a large addition to our home in 2011-2012. It included a kitchen, office, pantry , upstairs bedroom and bath as well as basement and exterior front facade facelift.. Their estimate/bid was comparable to others we obtained. We had a foreman, Gary, assigned to us for the entire project and he oversaw the project with remarkable attention to detail and focus. He was onsite nearly everyday of 9 months and available after hours by phone or email. He was patient, good natured and a talented craftsmen, as well as an extraordinary resource during the process. He never appeared flustered or angry no matter what had transpired that day . He managed so much under the radar, that we were never aware of any problems in the day to day workings of the project. He took pride in his workmanship and we have no concerns that shortcuts were taken. We had weekly status meetings where formal communication and documentation took place, and it was apparent that he communicated regularly with JP Perron. The subcontracters were all respectful, neat clean and well groomed, which in itself is remarkable. We were never left with a lull in the project and were kept abreast of the schedule. I note that our family's privacy was always respected and he was always considerate of our comfort, making many makeshift living spaces along the way. I never felt rushed to make a decision and am impressed how many times he made a mock-up so that we could have a visual of an upcoming decision. Our dog misses him now that the project is done. So do we ! I can, with any hesitation whatsoever, highly recommend this contractor.”
