We recently underwent a 2 storey extension being nearly 7metres x 7metres. From initial quote by Jon Eckley, to the follow up, we were very impressed. Wanting to source some of our own finishing touches, being a mix of bathroom stuff, electrical items and fitted furniture, we thought any contractor would not be too pleased with this, although all the team at EC&B were very accommodating, even seeing if they could get the items cheaper. The build was completed within schedule over the winter months and finished to a very high standard that has made a huge difference to our home. Thank you to all at EC&B for a very nice space and more importantly for the professionalism all along. Nathan & Rebecca Jackman-Smith

I cannot sing enough praises about Jon’s remarkable skills, patience and professionalism. From start to finish, his work exceeded all expectations, leaving me very satisfied with his craftsmanship and excellent attention to detail. I would definitely use Jon again for future projects and I highly recommend him!

Knowledgeable and patient enough to explain what needs to be done and what can be done to make your vision happen. Is very upfront about the price, which is as much of a bargain as you're going to get but the quality certainly isn't lacking. I'm more than happy with the end result of my fixed wardrobe I ordered and would easily recommend to anyone.

Jon and his team have been brilliant.They have just completed a big Gran and Grampy extension on our house.The standard of work is top quality and Jon is a great communicator.We came up with ideas along the way and he came up with suggestions/solutions. He is about to start work on a project for our neighbours and a friend is looking to book him in later in the year for a project he’s planning. Thanks Jon and team ,you made what could have been a stressful time a pleasure and we’re loving our new space.

Used Eckley carpentry & building Ltd to do a complete bathroom refit on existing bathroom, completely gutted and started from scratch. We also had a spare bedroom turned into a shower room also creating extra landing space with large walk in storage cupboard. Absolute fantastic bunch of tradesmen. Very reliable, all jobs completed on timescale given, tidy workers, nothing was ever too much trouble. Highly recommend. Will deffinately be using again. They did a fantastic job

John is a highly skilled carpenter. We came to know him when he was foreman of a big kitchen project in our convent. Now he has gone independent we are happy to continue using him. He is not only highly competent but he is very respectful of the venue and easy to work with. He responds promptly and is sensible in assessing the project and what needs doing. He finsihes off his task swiftly and leaves a clean space behind him! I would feel confident to rely on his opinion. Highly recommended.
