Handy Domi

We are delighted with the work completed by Tafil and his team. We hired Tafil to gut, make renovations and then redecorate a three bed terraced house. We were impressed by the engagement and responsiveness we received from Tafil from the beginning when we first reached out for an estimate all the way through to the completion of the six week project. We were very impressed with the efficiency in which the work was done and Tafil had a large team in the house within the first day of work commencing. The work was completed by the team on time, within budget and to a very high standard. The team worked late for the final week in order to ensure it completed on time. Tafil listened to us and completed the work in the manner we requested - however, he obviously has a lot of experience and was an extremely helpful sounding board for anything that we were not sure of. Following the commencement of the work, there were some additional items which we decided to do go ahead with (e.g. replacing the cupboard under the stairs and putting in a small downstairs toilet). In addition, there were damp issues which were identified when the floorboards were pulled up to commence the works. Tafil did not take these as an opportunity to suggest unnecessary works or provide high fee estimates for this work (as it would have been very difficult for us to use a different contractor) - we really appreciated this and we felt that we could trust Tafil and the team from the beginning of the project until it was completed. I have also spoken with the neighbours since completion of the project and they have noted that Tafil and the team were always extremely courteous. In short, we found Handy Domi to complete work to a high standard, on time and to be very trustworthy (and we are delighted that Tafil and the team completed our project for us).

I spoke to a number of loft conversion companies before deciding to go with Handy Domi Ltd Whilst his price was on the high side, the service he delivered was simply outstanding. I could tell from the outset that he was reliable and trustworthy and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

Tafil and his team refurbished my flat and did an excellent job. Before I hired them, I had spoken to others which were either not available for the next 3 months or not very interested. It’s shocking to see how in London you sometimes feel like you are begging for a professional, even if the money you’ll have to pay won’t be a bargain. Tafil decorated the whole flat, built a large bookcase In the sitting room, totally redid a bathroom, changed some doors and, what is even more important, made you feel he was working for you, not just for his money. He answered loads of questions I had, so that I could make the right decision at the right time, draw my attention to small details I had not always noticed and also helped with small additional jobs without expecting anything in return. These guys can solve almost any problem you throw at them. A rare find. Pick them if you need someone to redo your place at a competitive price.

Had a really good experience working with Handy Domi. We live in an apartment in central London which is grade 2 listed. Domi and his team were very professional in dealing with his clients and managing the concerns of our neighbours. He finished the work ahead of time and stuck to the agreed quote beforehand. I would recommend him very highly and have already contracted him for further home improvement projects.

I had to discontinue the Tafil’s services before completion despite having given him advanced payment. He disappears from the job to do other projects, is very unprofessional and dishonest. He has left me a lot of problems to sort out on my own.

Tafil was really amazing from the start to finish of contracting. He was responsive when contacted to renovate and fix the plumbing of my bathroom. You came the same day to check the job, provided quote and did an excellent job. He provided recommendations and suggestions a long the way and ensured he delivered quality work. I will definitely contact him again for next time.

Tafil did an excellent job for us. He was reliable, reasonably priced and very profesional. He responded very quickly to our call and did the work we needed done in the time he told us. We would highly recommend him and will definitely be calling him again for other jobs we need doing in the future.

Cannot recommend Tafil enough. Unlike so many plumbers I have tried before, he got in touch immediately, was available the following morning to diagnose the problem, identified the issue quickly and it was all fixed within an hour and a half at very reasonable cost. Unlike many plumbers, no job seems to be too small - Tafil is efficient, professional, tidy and exceedingly courteous. Finally a plumber I can trust. Will be recommending to anyone who needs a reliable plumber!

Could not recommend Handy Domi more highly, Every step of the build, from planing start to completion, absolutely stress free. Having had bat experience before by other company, but Tafil with his team make our loft looking beautiful and we are very happy, Having recommended them to all family and friends thinking of having loft conversation or any full renovation done.
