John McEvilly and his team worked with us on our ambitious building project and we found them to be professional, hardworking and the end result was of the highest quality. John communicated well and built a good relationship with our architect. He has since gone onto work with the same architect on further projects and also with friends who we have recommended him to. At all times we felt we were in capable and honest hands and were delighted with the end result. John has since been very prompt to return to sort out any snagging issues or problems, something which I know not all builders are keen to do!

We are near completion of a complete overhaul of our mid terrace Victorian property in Chiswick, West London. As build novices, it is daunting to take on architect, builder and other contractors but John made the process easy - taking the time to 'translate' complex architect plans into layman's speak and demystify the process. John has delivered a very high spec - coordinating all aspects of our build from structural glass to electrics, plumbing to joinery. We wanted a contemporary open plan kitchen with lots of built in storage. The quality of craftmanship delivered is excellent and we are delighted with the result. Of course there are always niggles on a build and we had a couple of minor pipe leaks and small issues with neighbouring properties. John flagged issues promptly and dealt with other contractors on site professionally and courteously. Overall if you are looking for high end spec delivered to budget with no surprises i would highly recommend M C Construction.
