Newline Bespoke Renovations

I have worked with Sam for a number of years now on projects large and small. He is now my go to contractor for most of my design work and I trust him and his team entirely both with executing my designs and to ensure that the client gets the best possible service and value for money. It is rare to find a contractor that enjoys the challenges of bespoke design work and the curveballs this can bring. Without doubt his input and advice elevate my designs and give me the confidence to push elements and deliver truly unique results for my customers. He has become a vital part of my design and project process and I could not deliver the work I do without him and his team.

We commenced a ground floor renovation in our home in October 2022, which then had been estimated to take approximately 8 – 10 months. Massively over budget and months outside of the timeline, that we had been led to believe, we were in despair. Fortuitously we were given a personal recommendation for Sam. We had several meetings with him, during which he fully assessed what work was outstanding, as well as the part finished work. He then drew up a programme of work in consultation with ourselves and at his suggestion he completed the renovation on a ‘room by room’ basis. Sam then drew up a schedule of work with costings. He worked methodically through each area bringing in excellent specialist contractors, as and when they were required. They were always mindful and respectful that it was our home, which we were living in. In a relatively short time, what Sam has delivered has exceeded all our expectations, it includes a stunning staircase which he had designed, manufactured and then installed. He is very professional and approachable, having, a keen eye for detail, he has a ’can do’ attitude and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

Sam is a polite and helpful chap, he did a good job from providing detailed information in the quote, to co-ordinating the various tradesmen that for the most part worked to a good standard on the extension to the property. The workmanship associated with the new roofline regularly gets good comments from various local neighbours. Newline Construction and Sam have been very professional throughout the whole process, from initial meetings and quoting to completion of the work. The quality of their work has been superb and all colleagues and contractors that have been on site have all been a pleasure to deal with. We recently had a kitchen renovation completed by Sam and his team at Newline Construction and cannot recommended them enough. What stood out most initially was the detailing to the quote we received. This gave us an instant trust for Sam as he left nothing out, meaning we could go ahead knowing that we had accounted for everything. When work started we were extremely impressed with how organised Sam was, he could tell us any any moment what he was doing and what was happening next, he knew exactly when all deliveries were coming and in what order things would be done. This helped us to plan our daily living around which rooms we would have access to and when. The team were extremely clean and treated our house with respect, cleaning up as much as possible after each day. Each tradesperson that Sam used were as professional and hard working as him and Dave and our finished kitchen/ family room is beautifully finished to a very high standard. I contacted New Line Construction after seeing and being very impressed by pictures of their work on social media. Communication prior to the job being started was clear, concise and timely. Sam visited our house to have a look around at the work that we wanted doing, as we had several projects in mind and needed to get a cost estimate for each project prior to the work commencing. As part of this process, New Line Construction gave us some great ideas as to how we could make the most of the limited space in our back bedroom. The first project that has just been completed started with new flooring in the lounge, then moving on to a more involved project of total refurbishment of the hallway including ripping out a bannister and replacing with a new one. After the work on the hallway started, it soon came to light that there was an issue with the structure of the floor in the hallway (we had suspected there was an underlying issue so it wasn't a total surprise). This issue was quickly resolved by New Line Construction without any fuss and with minimal cost incurred thanks to Sam's project management of the situation. The work was completed ahead of time, even with the additional work caused by having to replace the structure of the hallway floor. All of the work has been done to the highest standard and the aftercare shown by New Line Construction has been exemplary. I will most definitely be using New Line Construction for the remaining projects to be done on my property and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Newline construction put a new internal wall, enabling us to have a walk in wardrobe, with double doors. He also extended our existing decking. Both times he worked for us, he was punctual, clean and tidy and delivered an excellent standard of work at a fair price. We couldn't recommend Newline Construction highly enough - honest tradesman are like gold dust and we are glad to have Newline.
