We had a great experience with One Construction - which seems to differ greatly from what our friends doing similar projects have endured with other companies! Neil said upfront that we wanted us to enjoy this once in a lifetime process and we absolutely did. It's hard to fault Neil and his team in any way. This was technically an extension but they have effectively delivered a brand new c. 4,000ft house as not much of the original property was retained. So a biggish project and there was plenty of scope for cost and timing overruns. He was honest with his upfront estimate and initial timeline and came in broadly line with both (it was scheduled for 6 months and ended up being less than 7). Neil's team are friendly, considerate and hard-working. They came on site day 1 and were there every day until the job was complete and maintained good relations with the neighbours. Neil himself has an eye for detail and won't settle for anything substandard in terms of look or workmanship. In terms of the finish and the house we now have, there is nothing which we would change. We absolutely love it. We'd be more than happy to chat further with any of One Construction's prospective clients and show them round the house of which we are incredibly proud!

Neil & his team built a new connected garage, study & utility room for us in addition to converting our old garage into a games room and a general refurb of our house. From the beginning to the end we found Neil to be professional, customer focused and committed to providing us with a quality build and finish throughout. His quotation was incredibly detailed and the only variances away from this were amendments we chose to make during the build. He has a team of people working for him who have all have an eye for detail, are polite, hard working and considerate an important factor for us as we lived in the house during the build. The time frames given were accurate and deadlines were met. We would have no hesitation in recommending Neil/One Construction and if we were ever looking for a building company again, they would be our first port of call.

We hired One Construction last year to undertake our house renovation and extension in Beaconsfield. We were immediately impressed by Neil's approach. He was clear about the quotation process (which was the most thorough tendered), helpful in the design phase and struck us as someone we could definitely work with - honest, straight talking and friendly. His team arrived on site in early May and all of his trades personnel were fantastic - polite, tidy and incredibly helpful. Of particular mention were Ian his site foreman who was simply amazing in accommodating us continuing to live in the property, and who became a firm favourite with our two little girls, and Ben his electrician who was really well informed and helpful on introducing smart tech into the house. We chose to work with Neil & the One Construction team for a large residential renovation job and are extremely happy with how it went & the result. It was a double story side extension & single story rear extension, which in reality became a rebuild job. Neil was professional, the project was on time, and on budget. We were out the property for approximately 7 months, but visited the site regularly and someone was always on hand to assist...even on Saturdays!
