From the initial meeting and acceptance of the quote, to the more than satisfactory completion of works, James, his staff and the sub-contractors he hired in for the specialist works, demonstrated a courteous and professional approach towards both ourselves and the build. Every stage of the build was fully explained along the way and progress was reported by James at the end of each working day. James and Lee from PBS were a pleasure to work with. Their work was excellent. I can't fault anything. They were extremely reliable. When the project kicked off they went through all the payment and deliverable dates. No dates slid and nothing went over budget. We're thrilled our rear extension with glass roof and bi-folds into the newly landscaped garden. The space is beautiful and has changed our lives.

Review of PBS PBS completed an attic conversion to our semi detached property in autumn of 2019 and we would have no problems in recommending them to others. From the outset they were positive and great problem solvers, the communication between ourselves and Lee and James of PBS was great and they were quick to respond to questions re the progression of the conversion. They clearly know their trade well and were happy to guide and allow our design to be created just as we had wanted. The quality of finish was just as we had hoped and we are very happy we went with PBS and will use them again in the future.

We first contacted James and his company with regard to an extension we were considering to the rear of our bungalow, this was to incorporate an open plan kitchen, diner and seating area. They came along and listened to our ideas and together we came up with a plan. The quote they gave us seemed very good for the work involved and the time available to commence this work fitted in for us. Throughout the project James and his team kept us up to date and discussed any alternate ideas that he thought would work better and why. The project was finished on time and within the budget agreed.

Outstanding knowledge and care throughout our project. James' advice at the start was wide and invaluable, including what materials would be most aesthetically pleasing. His team were thorough, hard working, thoughtful and knowledgeable. James was on site regularly to check every detail and would always update me on what was done, how and why it was done and what was to be done over the coming days. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for any type of building project.

I engaged PBS for an extensive work on my house to build a large rear single storey kitchen/diner and a two storey side extension incorporating two new wetrooms. In addition the gardens were remodelled. I am delighted with the quality of the work and the tradesmen used and also with the working relationship throughout the contract. From start to finish, I was very impressed with James' professionalism. When giving the quote, he listened carefully to what I wanted and, when asked, offered some very good suggestions! James was very upfront with the cost of the job; the price I was quoted was the price that I paid. Furthermore, he was clear about when the job would start and how long it would take. He and his workforce were very friendly and professional throughout. I would certainly recommend James' services.
