Toby and his team did a great job on a major house renovation project for me involving structural work, taking out and putting in internal walls, replacing the bathroom, installing radiators, windows, flooring, garden fences, updating the heating system etc. Toby and his team were very easy to deal with and took a lot of the stress out of dealing with building control, the structural engineer and neighbours. Toby has a good team and a good network of other professionals like electricians and window installers to call on as necessary. Toby was very clear about costs, and very patient and flexible in respect of changes to the project.

Would highly recommend Salmon Building after the fantastic job they did on my 2 bed flat. This full refurb was done on time, within budget and with an exception attention to detail. Toby provided honest and expert advice throughout the project which helped me achieve the high spec finish I was after. His team are dedicated and highly skilled and a pleasure to work with.

This is the second time we have worked with Toby and his team to do renovations that have included a complete change, and fully recommend them. The first time we were having a bathroom renovated. Other companies we asked to quote just didn’t think it possible to fit the waste pipe where it was needed, but Toby and his team found a solution, and the finished room looks great. That was two years ago and it is all working brilliantly (after having a terrible bathroom before that kept having leaks, etc). This time it was a complete kitchen renovation and decorating downstairs. Moving all the appliances, plumbing, wiring, new floor, adding a completely new WC, and utility cupboard, as well as decorating our other rooms. The pictures show one ‘ before’ after the terrible old kitchen was pulled out, and then three ‘after’. We couldn’t be happier with the results (in what was a very awkward space over two levels). We are always provided with really helpful advice and multiple home visits to make sure the project will work, the team are all extremely polite and professional, and the finish is really brilliant. I also trust that if there is a bit more complexity - some wires or pipes or something aren’t where expected - Toby and his team will sort it out without any hassle, I barely need to know about it. So I can leave them to it and know it will be a great job and to a very high standard. Communication is always very clear and regular, as are the quotes. And they finished exactly on time and as expected (after a nearly 3 month job). I’ve recommended Toby to friends in the area and wouldn’t want to use any other company when we need renovation work done.

Toby and team completed my full house renovation and I couldn't recommend them more highly. From the first conversation Toby went out of his way to be helpful, going the extra mile time and time again, and communicating very clearly at every step. It was so reassuring knowing that I could trust Toby to keep me updated and advise me honestly about what was needed.
