We wholeheartedly recommend Scott and his team. We had an extension built which involved moving our kitchen as well as a few internal walls, and Scott was able to organise the project so that we did not need to move out, it came in on budget and on time. The groundwork team led by David were fantastic, and didn’t disrupt our garden an inch more than absolutely necessary. Scott and Ged worked at an amazing rate and communication was easy right through - we knew what was happening and when. And we are left with a stunning extension! Best decision.

We have been renovating our Victorian house, knocking down an old inadequate extension, building a new one and reconfiguring the downstairs layout with a new kitchen, dining room, utility and shower room. The project came in on budget and on time. Scott was on hand to answer any questions and offer practical advice and solutions. Communication was easy, his team worked quickly and professionally and made sure we weren't without heating or cooking facilities at any time over the festive period. The dog will miss him and Ged!

I would highly recommend Smith Joinery. Scott and his team did a great job building the extension to our 1900s house and knocking through walls to make an open plan kitchen diner. Scott was very considerate of our needs and working round us so that we could still have a usable kitchen during the build. We were never without a washing machine! Scott is a problem-solver with a can-do attitude. The job was completed on time and to a high standard and within the original quote.

Scott and his team completed internal renovations in our house (knocking down walls, new kitchen, installing bi-folds, flooring, bathroom, patio area etc.) and couldn't be happier with how it has all turned out! The guys were really tidy throughout, Scott stuck to his quote and was very well priced for the work we had carried out. Would definitely recommend - not only Scott but the various tradesman that Scott uses were all excellent!

Scott Smith was recommended to me by my architect, Karen Parry, for work reconfiguring my hall/kitchen/living area. Though a relatively modest project, in honesty, it was a big deal to me and daunting in prospect. I cannot emphasise enough how much I’ve valued Scott’s contribution. He’s the most delightful, straightforward, sensible guy who listens carefully, thinks practically, but also very inventively. He has a great team, all of whom bend over backwards to ensure that disruption is minimised and family life is respected throughout the build. Floors are brushed, furniture arranged with thought, amenities removed and rebuilt/connected in careful sequence for minimal inconvenience. The sense is that these things have always been considered and that their worksite is first and foremost your home. Scott is also pretty accurate on provisional costing and very financially transparent as the project progresses. The quality of the work has been exceptional. When there are issues, he’s happy to work with you to fix them or find a solution. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Smith Joinery highly. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Scott and his team.

Scott and the team worked tirelessly from day one missing only one working day due to high winds and heavy rain. He has a small hard working diligent team. Any issue was overcome without drama. The lads cleaned up after themselves each day and when it came to snagging Scott was round the very next day to address the issues in hand. Great job from start to finish and will use them again.
