There is only one word to describe Tomas and his team and that is integrity. Even with rising costs and supply and demand issues Tomas and his team still delivered an outstanding service. We lived in-house throughout the build whilst they were busy demolishing the back of the house and attached outbuildings to create an extra bathroom; fabulous split level kitchen; lounge and dining area with easier access to the garden. Entertaining family and friends is so much more enjoyable with the space we now have. If you want dedicated no nonsense, it is what it is builders look no further than South London Conversions.

Tomas and his team are excellent builders and delivered an outstanding response to all our requests for our modern kitchen extension. They were polite, well spoken, good humoured, and showed great attention to all the details as well as the big scary stuff with a cranked steel supporting our 'floating bedroom'. The work proceeded to schedule even with all the precautions of Covid lockdowns. Tomas brought a calmness to any of our anxieties, teaching me two useful phrases, 'No worries, and 'It is what it is'. His team's skills and focus on their work was admirable and there was always foreman Swavek to oversee every stage and complete every detail required so finishing was an outstanding feature of their work. We are delighted with our new kitchen and with so much space it has changed our lifestyle even in a very compromising year. We very much appreciated their commitment to a high standard of work and professional attitude to us.

South London Conversions built a kitchen/dining room extension at the rear of our house in Lambeth, completing the project in March 2019. In addition they knocked through from our kitchen into our rear living room creating a large and flexible family living space leading out into the garden. The project took approximately four months from initial demolition of an old conservatory to completion. Throughout that period we dealt with Tomas Slembarski. Our initial impression of SLC was favourable from the start, even prior to deciding to work with them. We visited two other projects completed by SLC and both families were extremely positive about their contact with Tomas, were positive about their experience of working with SLC in terms of communication, in relation to the overall project management and financial clarity, and both were very positive about the quality of the work delivered, which we were able to confirm during the course of our visits. In deciding to work with SLC we were not disappointed: Communication was good throughout. The project started on time and finished on time. The initial estimated cost, having been agreed, was 'respected'. The phasing of the payments was straightforward and sensible. We were pleased with the quality of the work and the quality of the finish throughout the project. The team worked hard. The experience that SLC brought to the project and to our initial ideas improved the final 'design'. Liaising with Tomas was simple, straightforward and a pleasure throughout. Since completion we have had no hesitation in recommending SLC to friends and family and two of our children have since employed SLC, with one project completed and another shortly to begin. We have also asked SLC back to complete the next, smaller, project on our own house.

Tomas and his team worked with us over a 2 year period on an extensive renovation. We lived in the house throughout and so their flexibility and patience was essential. It also helped that the entire team are extremely nice people! Communication was great at every stage, and the finish was to a very high standard. They worked brilliantly with other trades (windows/ kitchen designer etc) and offered practical and pragmatic solutions to every (inevitable) hiccup. Tomas was on hand to oversee and guide the team throughout and was extremely thorough when singing off the finished job. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services.

Tomas and team undertook our extension in 2019. Upon first consultation it was very apparent we were dealing with a very professional company. Communication throughout was clear and transparent, programming of each phase went without any hiccups, whilst we remained in occupation. The end result is fabulous, it has transformed the way we live!!! Well done Tomas and team, I would highly recommend this builder if you want a stress free project, delivered on time and on budget.

Tomas and his team did my loft extension at first (worth to mention here that their job was completed on such an excellent level and high standard that I have hired them again to do my kitchen conversion at the later stage!!) At the same time they were carrying on other building jobs in the house like window exchange everywhere (ground floor & 1st floor), door frame exchange, underfloor heating installation, painting, decorating and what not! They have proven to have been an excellent choice, providing a first class, professional service at an excellent price. The standard of workmanship and communication has been exceptional throughout the entire build. The site was always left tidy at the end of the day (which is really important if you live in the house during the refurbishment ) and the team were always punctual and on time. As I have mentioned at the beginning due to the excellent standard of work and the trust we had in Tomas and his team, we had further work carried out. They are reliable, polite, friendly and meet all the deadlines. Everyone are delighted and amazed with our beautiful house. We have recommended Tomas to many of our families and friends and we could only hear words of gratitude from them!
