Spencer and his team renovated our whole house. Spencer was the project manager,sourcing and overseeing every contractor that worked on the house, from roofers and renderers to window fitters and plumbers, carpenters and electricians and decorators and gardeners. All work was carried out efficiently and at a competitive price. Spencer and his team were friendly and courteous and always respected our home. Nothing was too much trouble from major renovations to final decor. We have been left with a beautiful home that makes us smile every day. Spencer worked with us closely to achieve this and we can't thank him enough. We highly recommend him and his team.

Outstanding Builder – Highly Recommended! We had the pleasure of working with Spencer and his team for the complete rebuild of our bungalow, and we couldn't be happier with the results! From start to finish, the project was handled with professionalism, skill, collaboration and great attention to detail. Our original property was almost entirely demolished and rebuilt with a larger footprint, including a stunning dormer extension. The transformation has been incredible, and the quality of workmanship is second to none. The team also created a beautiful large patio with a modern veranda, which has become one of our favourite spaces. One of the standout aspects of working with Spencer was the excellent communication throughout. He kept us well-informed at every stage, ensuring that we were always up to date with progress. His team was not only highly skilled but also incredibly conscientious—working neatly and being mindful of neighbours, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. His diligent standards and application ensured that not only were complex building control demands satisfied, but also that additional stringent requirements for structural warranties were adhered to. On top of all this, his pricing was reasonable for the level of service and quality provided. Spencer and his team renovated our kitchen by removing an existing wall, insulating what was a garage, raising the floors and fitting a new kitchen including all electrics and plumbing. What a great team! They turned up every morning to do a full day's work. They were all polite hard working and always left leaving the place tidy. Spencer has vision so was always full of idea's and it was never too much trouble to add in any changes as we went along. Communication was great and having had a few quotes his prices were competitive. We would definitely return to Spencer for more work and recommend him to friends and family.

Spencer and his team are the best in town!!! I had a vision prior to my single story extension and Spencer more than delivered. From the start Spencer was clear with a laid out payment plan, liaised with building control, punctual, and beyond clean and tidy. Whilst living in the property during the build Spencer ensured the remaining part of the house was blocked off from dust. His team are again so polite, friendly and always tidying up after a days work. Spencer takes pride in his work and the finished result is of an excellent standard. Where do I start? Spenhen and Spencer himself have been a godsend and an amazing team to work with as the project was to complete remedial work from a previous trader and complete the extension Spencer had the time to go through every detail with myself and liaised with building control along the way so that everything was spot on and communicated effectively about the payment plan so there was no surprises The team definitely take pride in their work as there was never a day where they didn’t have a broom in their hand sweeping up after themselves to ensure the site was always tidy He has a great eye to be creative and thought of aspects and changes that really enhanced my project to a fantastic result Would utterly trust and recommend him as he’s coming back to do my bathroom and patio

We had an unused old outhouse type building attached to our house which Spencer and his team have converted into a second living space, and downstairs toilet/utility for our home. Firstly, Spencer’s quote was detailed and fairly priced meaning no big extra surprise costs, at first we didn’t know how to adapt the space so Spencer actually provided us with two quotes for two different pieces of work. We were originally unsure whether to go ahead at the date we did as we had a newborn in the house, but we decided to go ahead with it and throughout the work Spencer was very mindful of our needs keeping us informed on which days would be noisiest so we could take the little one out the house for the day. All in all, really happy with what’s been done, everything has been completed to a high standard in a timely manner, we were kept updated on progress throughout the job and barely had to ask Spencer any questions ourselves, great set of lads will definitely be using again!

Single storey wrap around extension which has improved the footprint of our house100% . SpenHen Construction were recommended by a friend when we were looking for someone to contruct our single storey extension, I can't thank her enough for the recommendation. When we first met Spencer he instilled confidence with his knowledge, and offered a competitive quote. When embarking on a large project it can be daunting however i liked Spencer from the off, we needed someone we could communicate easily with and most importantly trust. It was made clear at the beginning that we were trusting him with this and he didn't let us down. Spencer was open to discuss idea's and was patient as plans grew and changed throughout the project. He and his team arrived every time they said they would, never leaving us in the lurch to pursue other projects, they were committed until the end. Any difficulties along the way Spencer gave assurances and stuck to his word. The quality of building work is to a high standard, it's obvious he cares and is passionate about what he does. We looked for a builder to do our kitchen extension and we were recommended by our friends to use Spencer and his team. I was always nervous about who we used, as you always hear ‘horror stories’! Well all we can say is good about this company. They are reliable, honest, they turn up on time, clean up at the end of the day and nothing was too much trouble. We couldn’t be more happy with the outcome of this extension and have had so many compliments about the building work completed. We even ended up having a down stairs bathroom as spencer had the vision that we couldn’t see, which is perfect for our family home. I can’t say anything negative about this company, I have Recommeded him to 2 other people and they have also used him. They too are very very impressed with the work completed.

Spenhen construction initially completed the rear extension to my house. I was so pleased with both the quality of the work and the all of the teams efforts, that I employed them to renovate much of the interior, including changing the layout of the ground floor making it open plan, and fitting a complete new kitchen and bathroom plus redecoration. They also completely renovated the rear garden for me with new walls, patios and fencing and rendered both front and rear of the property. I can honestly say I have been happy with all aspects of work undertaken, and all of the team are reliable, experienced and trustworthy. I am very happy to recommend this company and will be using them for any future projects.

From initial concept stage we met SpenHen for a consultation, and Spencer was extremely knowledgable not only on how we could create our porch (we only sent him a few pictures from Pinterest at best at this point!) but also and more importantly what would compliment our existing property, which is a dated house with many traditional characteristics that many modern builders may not have considered. SpenHen was able to put together a package based on our budget and given the current economic difficulties in materials procurement we were pleasantly surprised when he was able to include everything we had specifically asked for and gave us a more than acceptable programme for completion. On acceptance, Spencer got to work right away with procuring materials and then was in constant contact with us on timescales. Once work began, the lads were fantastic and were very neat and tidy, getting on with the job with no fuss at all. My wife who now works from home even noted she wouldn’t have known they were there some days! Nothing was ever a problem and Spencer did a great job of keeping us up to date on key stages of the build, and also made some brilliant suggestions that we hadn’t initially thought of which, now complete, really set the porch off which shows the attention to detail that SpenHen produce. The work was completed on time, on budget, and surpassed our expectations and we are truly over the moon with our new porch. We can’t recommend them highly enough and given that we will no doubt be making more alterations to our house in the future, we won’t be looking to go anywhere else.

Spencer and his team have completed my single storey extension to an extremely high standard. Spencer has been excellent from day one and has communicated with me through each stage so I understood the process clearly. If there was any issues that did arise Spencer calmly explained the situation to me and due to his excellent knowledge he would come up with ideas and solutions to resolve the problem. Spencer and his team also completed some remedial work due to some poor workmanship from previous builders. The team have turned up every day and didn't go missing for days/weeks on end like previous builders I hired and most importantly they were so clean and tidy which really took the stress out of the job being completed.
