Sunny Eco

Avoid this company at all costs - we had 5 new windows installed in our home by Sunny Eco. Not only were they fitted incompetently, with literal gaps through to the outside left unfilled, leading to significant damp and draft problems. But even worse, they were fitted so unsafely, that there could have been a catastrophic accident. Our large sash window was only secured using 4 short screws - all of which were secured into rotting or loose wood. Had we not had a builder in to fix the window, it literally could have fallen out on the our neighbours doorway directly below. To remedy this we had to get our own builder in to fix the problem - who said he had never seen such an incompetent or dangerous fitting in his 30 year career. Sunny Eco has shown zero regard for a) the incompetence of their fitting and b) for any prospect of doing anything to remedy the problems they have caused. They have no care whatsoever and are comfortably the worst company I have ever had to deal with. Avoid at all costs.

Be aware of this company:We signed a contract for a new conservatory roof after which they and changed the cost of the project . We accepted it reluctantly but as it was our retirement project we were looking forward, we went on. When the roof leaked ( at the cost of over £20000) it took them one month before 2 incompetent workman came to assess it. Scared by the scale of the problem they never came back. Sam, the Manager never came in spite of our plea, to see it himself. Kertie , the alleged director never replied to our letters and emails. And our emails were blocked soon after.They blocked our phone from calling them.A Turner, the complaint officer who’s name is still on the company’s official site, said he no longer works for them.All doors were closed to us. The roof is leaking .

I ordered windows on 12/4/22, they didn’t send anyone to measure until 14/5/22, and didn’t come to install until 27/6/22. I had to continually chase for everything and was frequently completely ignored, and the attitude was generally very unhelpful. But they’re quick enough to demand money when they want to! The windows I received were badly measured, badly made and badly installed. They do not fit the spaces and have gaps patched by a bit of glued on upvc to hide the huge gap, and some are not recessed into the space. Ugly strips of upvc glued and siliconed on to my original terracotta tiles and decor I now can’t change or get a neat finish on. I have been battling ever since to have them replaced only to have replacements promised, then silence for 3 months since. Now the weather has turned. I have never been treated so badly by a company before, their admin and customer service is absolutely appalling and these windows are way below any acceptable standard. I am now having to take them to court because they will not resolve this and frankly I do not trust them to now. I have approached Trading Standards, TGAS, RISA and FENSA. This has caused huge stress and upset unnecessarily and I am beyond disappointed in this company and those working there.

I would avoid. Their: - finishing is sloppy - quality of construction is questionable - communication is irregular - pricing is expensive - customer service is questionable I'd avoid any verbal agreements with them as they will not be honoured. I'd also ensure you're in all the time to supervise the workers. Lots of issues occurred after the supervisor/ surveyor left. Over-priced and under-delivered.

We were really anxious before buying windows for our total home retrofitting following energy guideline. Sunny Eco gave us the best quote, delivered and installed the energy rated windows on time. I must mention we are delighted with all 32 window quality, installation and service. Anyone out there looking for windows please contact Sunny Eco. They are amazing. Great range of products, we initially purchased new composite door, they thought of lots of options I hadn't which added extra security and ease of use, and the price was better than anything I could find online. After service was also excellent, with subsequent visits to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction. We ended up buying a further bifold and 2 sash windows from them as we were so impressed by the service and price. Strongly recommend.

Had windows replaced just over a year ago so been through all weathers, including the recent storms Ciara and Dennis in Feb 2020. I wanted the windows change before Xmas 2018 but left it a bit late and only Sunny Eco could do it in time. They came round to measure and verify requirements within a few days. Triple glazed windows ordered and fitted within a few weeks, just before Xmas. Four windows done the same day, which entailed removing the old wooden window frames. Professional and courteous service. Would use again.

Sunny Eco provided great quality fitting at my house and their service was extremely professional. I recommend them highly. I had a burglary in my house and they even helped in securing my door whilst my fitting were done. Incredible!!
