I am very happy with the outcome of this job. It was quite complex in the sense that a whole structure of steel beams was needed to support the loft because the existing structure was wood. So not having done this before, I was concerned - I had to have confidence that this would go smoothly - otherwise with two neighbours either side, I would have a problem to deal with. The end results are excellent. I like Dan's precision in tracking the budget, and details of the job, even advising me to alter the plan early on to give better roof space. The finish is a very high standard too. Overall, would recommend VC & Builders and happy to answer queries from potential clients.

High-quality build with some skilled and enthusiastic craftsmen, especially on joinery. Able to work professionally with detailed architectural plans. Contract management a little fiddly at times. But overall, excellent professional work at a competitive price.

Vladimir Chiriac and Builders are a dedicated, professional and trustworthy team, whose quality of work and attention to detail sets them apart. Our project involved a flat conversion in a Victorian house to create a new bedroom as well as a full renovation. From the initial meeting with director Vlad, I was impressed with the ideas put forward for the new layout as well as the detail within the scope of work, which made it easy for me to see how the budget broke down. There were details which we had not considered previously and Vlad was direct but honest about what would be required. Vlad offered informative advice throughout the planning process and once we’d been granted our planning permissions, the building project was expertly handled by Dan. The project ran to schedule and any problems/issues along the way were resolved quickly by Dan and his team. Dan’s attention to detail is very impressive and as well as managing each trade, he ensures that the work done is of a high quality. They had an additional headache with their client (yours truly!) being onsite most days working in order to save on the budget. Their team were not only good to work with, but offered helpful advice for the work we were carrying out, with us being novices in the DIY world! Overall they did a great job, we’d highly recommend them.
