With their masterful touch and fabulous eye for design and detail, they staged the kitchen, living room, master bedroom suite and downstairs entertainment area. It was amazing the difference it made in showing the home. They included in their staging not only items from their vast inventory of furnishings, but incredible photos that I was able to use to promote my listing in the MLS. It was easy to work with them. Once a contract was signed, Butch and Sheila made a plan, scheduled delivery of the furnishings and went to work doing what they do best - wonderful staging. Once we received the offer and proceded to closing, they once again arrived to dismantle their items, loaded the truck and left the place as clean as a whistle. I can honestly say that due to their staging, the home was much easier to show, had more showings, and eventually received the offer that the sellers were happy with.”

“When Mary "Peggy" Poulos of Mary Polos Interior and Exterior Design walked into our home, she walked into our lives changing us and our home forever! Our general contractor recommended Peggy to help us with redesigning our kitchen. When Peggy arrived she walked through our kitchen on out into the back yard. She described her philosophy that the outside should attract us out and yet, while outside, a gaze at the inside should kindle a desire for the inside. She delivered. We wanted our kitchen design to maximized our ability to watch the birds we love outside. With her bacelor's degree in landscape design she described what we could do outside each window. Peggy showed us what window style and space design would help us achieve our goal. When the windows were installed, we stood in the space Peggy designed for our kitchen table. We felt like we were out in the garden! Before contacting Peggy we thought we would take out part of the wall between the kitchen and the living room. I privately shared my concern with Peggy that opening up that wall might make it harder for me to get work done in the kitchen while the T.V. was on in the living room. Peggy explained the advantages of keeping the wall. She designed a kitchen with a distinctive entrance that draws you to it, yet is narrower to improve my ability to focus in the kitchen. We gained storage space as well. I love to try new recipes. My husband loves to use the grill outside. We were constantly short on counter space for prep. We were on top of each other trying to wash dishes and put things in the trash. We had worn off the design on the kitchen flooring in one corner where we both constantly needed to stand to reach items in the cupboard, cook, get things out of the can cupboard, step aside to get into the oven.... Peggy designed our kitchen so we have numerous prep areas instead of one. She designed the trash to be in a cupboard close to the table, sink and stove, yet no one needs to ask anyone to move to put something into the trash. With this design we can cook on the stove and get into the oven at the same time. No one needs to ask anyone to move. Peggy listened to what we wanted in our design She also noted what she could tell we really liked, but were not asking for. She noticed that my husband really likes rock. On a design program she was working on our design. She used the program to introduce us to the possibility of having rock on one wall. I really wanted a cupboard with glass on the front, but I thought it was too special to really have. She showed how we could have two cabinets with glass in the doors. Our kitchen is special to us. Above all, Peggy shared that she works to give people something they never thought they could have. I never thought I would have a beautiful home that I would feel comfortable inviting others to. Peggy designed a special kitchen for us. She encouraged me. I have invited neighbors, family and friends to enjoy the transformation process as our old kitchen becomes the new. I have given out lifetime invitations to come over for green tea. My husband wants to have parties when he never did before. I look forward to having an openhouse to boost my home business. We now have a professional, Peggy Poulos, who we can depend on to help us change our home and our lives. Peggy has given us a kitchen and home we never thought we could have.”

“We used Spade and Archer in the fall 2010 to help us sell our house. The initial walk-through with was inspiring, we had some problem areas and they were really positive and gave us lots of tips.
