“Sara from interiors.family has been an absolute joy to work with, and we are over the moon with how our lounge renovation has turned out. From the beginning, she took care to get to know us as people, find out what we liked (despite us having very little existing ‘style’ to go on), and to understand what we wanted. She provided invaluable guidance on the staging of the different pieces of the work, thinking about our downstairs holistically, so as to avoid expensive rework later on. She created designs for our hallway, kitchen and lounge, and then helped to coordinate the implementation of ‘stage one’: the renovation of our lounge. This has involved liaising with various tradespeople, sourcing pieces, and working with suppliers to create bespoke items – none of which has been easy given the current challenges, and I’m immensely grateful to her for taking this on. The result is a space which looks incredible, but is also both functional and future-proof. Despite having a good sense of what it would look like from the visuals created, we were blown away when it all came together, and it has far exceeded our expectations. Sara is immensely talented: creative, innovative, and knowledgeable. She took on board my ideas, but also pushed for elements she felt were important – which is why I hired a designer in the first place. She’s also given me the confidence to tackle other areas of our home, armed with new ideas and inspiration! I would recommend Sara to anyone without hesitation.”

“Ashton House were fantastic all round - both creative & practical, they've created a beautiful space for us that looks lovely and also functions very well as a home. We also found them great to work with during the process - they made it all extremely smooth, and assisted with not just the design, but pulling it all together and making it work. We will certainly be doing any future projects with them. Very highly recommended!”

“We set out to completely gut and renovate a crumbling old Georgian town house in Devon. Hianta came on board right at the start and was instrumental during the planning and concept stage. She started with a major simplification of the layout, which had been divided and subdivided in many previous half-hearted alterations over the years. She then co-project-managed the works with the main contractor, bringing in and organising specialists such as kitchen fitters, stone masons and metal-workers along the way. We are now working on the finishing touches together - final pieces of furniture, accessories and artwork. Her dedication to the project and attention to details have been fantastic. She has proven herself to be incredibly resourceful in finding creative solutions to retain the high-end finish we desired even when our budget had to be tightened. She also seems to have a knack for sourcing the most unusual and wonderful lighting ensuring that our home ended up with some unique and incredibly characterful pieces. The house is now a pleasure to live in. The soul of the house is starting to reveal itself through the careful choice of finishes and the perfectly balanced selection of antique, vintage and modern furniture. We look forward to celebrating the conclusion of our project with HCC Interiors in the coming months and we would definitely recommend Hianta to anyone in need of thoughtful design help/consultancy.”
