“We set out to completely gut and renovate a crumbling old Georgian town house in Devon. Hianta came on board right at the start and was instrumental during the planning and concept stage. She started with a major simplification of the layout, which had been divided and subdivided in many previous half-hearted alterations over the years. She then co-project-managed the works with the main contractor, bringing in and organising specialists such as kitchen fitters, stone masons and metal-workers along the way. We are now working on the finishing touches together - final pieces of furniture, accessories and artwork. Her dedication to the project and attention to details have been fantastic. She has proven herself to be incredibly resourceful in finding creative solutions to retain the high-end finish we desired even when our budget had to be tightened. She also seems to have a knack for sourcing the most unusual and wonderful lighting ensuring that our home ended up with some unique and incredibly characterful pieces. The house is now a pleasure to live in. The soul of the house is starting to reveal itself through the careful choice of finishes and the perfectly balanced selection of antique, vintage and modern furniture.
