Molly undertook the dressing for sale of a property which had previously been tenanted. We had tried to sell it between tenancies on a couple of occasions in the past but without luck. Prospective buyers regarded the downstairs as having a somewhat unusual layout, and even some potential tenants in the past had not gone ahead with a tenancy because of similar concerns. This time, the property sold within 3 days at a figure more than £20,000 above the initial asking price after going to best and final offers, and at a figure which set a new high for the development of which it was part. When viewing the dressed property, the selling agent remarked “Well, you’ve made my job a lot easier for me”. Molly’s dressing of the property showed prospective purchasers how it could be used and concerns as to layout were obviously assuaged. The first thing to say is that staging is not just for expensive houses on TV; it is an essential tool for selling your home. I sold my house at full asking price the first day it came on the market. I have to start by saying I was a little cynical when my estate agents first brought up the idea of ‘house staging’. For myself, quite a practical, logic based personality, this initially provoked images of ‘Feng Shui’ type practices and perhaps other spiritual or ‘unproven’ methods of decorating the house. However from the moment we met Molly I very quickly began to see the potential benefits. I genuinely cannot praise Molly highly enough. As well as making us feel one hundred percent comfortable from the beginning, Molly’s passion and belief in her product is matched only by her dedication towards ensuring our house was sold as quickly as possible. The cost of ‘house staging’ seems incredibly low in relation to the benefits, and especially considering the time that Molly dedicated to us, often working outside of her remit with us (even negotiating with the estate agents themselves at one point!!). As a result Molly’s service, I can honestly say that we not only sold our house in super quick time, but I also sincerely believe that we achieved a price that was much more achievable because of her presentation, effectively off-setting her fee completely. The quality of Molly’s service during the notoriously difficult process of a house sale was immeasurably enriched by her ongoing support, understanding, professionalism and skill in her field. Not only would I not hesitate to recommend Molly and ‘house staging’ to others, I would be happy to chat with anyone thinking of using Molly’s services and share my experience with them.

Molly is a very professional and easy to get on with person. She has a good knowledge of design trends and an amazing eye for colours, texture and a combination of traditional and modern styles. She is very generous in bringing more than enough of wonderful furniture, pictures and accessories from her own stock. My house was staged by Molly. The work was done in a couple of days. It cost me £2000, but it was worth it. The house went on the market at the end of November 2017. It was sold at a full asking price in January 2018. I highly recommend Molly Marshall to anyone who plans to sell their house quickly or just want their home to look beautifully elegant.
