Declutter on Demand - Professional Organisers

I got in touch with Lizzie after trying so many times to declutter and organise things at home, but never managing to get through everything or get a system in place that was sustainable and lasted. Lizzie was amazing from the start; friendly and helpful and put me in touch with Jo. It has genuinely been such a fantastic experience; Jo is amazing, she’s so fast and the way she goes through everything is so logical and methodical that it breaks what seems like an overwhelming job down into manageable chunks. She’s also incredibly respectful and careful with everything as she goes through it and categorises it and helps you work through what you want to keep, recycle, give away, sell or dump. I’d been going around in circles trying to do everything at once and then running out of time and shoving it all back in cupboards again but with Jo’s help we’ve worked our way through room by room and the change has been sustainable - this time it won’t drift back because there’s finally a place *for* everything rather than lots of places *with* everything. I used to love organising things but the build up of ‘stuff’ from 15 years in the house, including a lot that my ex-husband left and then the tsunami of my son’s toys, made it an overwhelming task and something that was a constant source of worry and stress. But I’m back to enjoying it now and the weight of everything, that was pressing in from all sides, has been lifted, which is a huge relief and means i can focus that energy on all of the other things going on in my life. Plus with the house organised it makes everything else so much easier and quicker too. So what Jo’s done is much more than declutter my house, she’s decluttered my life as well. The whole process has been really enjoyable too. Jo is so passionate about what she does as well as being incredibly good at it and she’s lovely, kind and genuinely cares Lizzie regularly checked in throughout to see how things were going which was great and the booking and payment processes were simple and easy to use. I would highly recommend Declutter on Demand, it’s transformed the way I feel about my home and how I live in it. Thank you Jo and Lizzie!

Just do it. It is worth it Sophie was very helpful and she had such a good attitude and sunny disposition that a day of unpackaging, decluttering and organising feel like a fun day between two friends. She was very efficient, gave me very good tips and advice for future purchase. She was very discreet as well. I would definitely call her again once my partner move in and I can't recommend her enough.

I cannot recommend Jo’s services more highly. Jo has been absolutely amazing in providing practical and emotional support for decluttering in all its forms. I would recommend Jo to anyone wanting help with organisation and to those who are dealing with hoarding issues. Her sensitive and cheerful approach and great energy have been a huge asset and Jo has taught me the skills so I can apply them too. Amazing service and I thoroughly recommend.

This was my first time using this service, I had a lovely lady Pauline who kindly helped me clear my clutter from my tiny sitting room, and helped me sort out my kitchen counters and cupboard under sink (I have way too many cloths/tea towels) during our 3 hour session. I have arthritis so it was great having an extra pair of hands. Pauline was friendly, chatty and non judgemental, I have collected a lot of stuff over the years and I do try to regularly clear clothes and other items, this has given me a kick up the derrière, I found it so nice to relax in my sitting room after all the clutter was gone. I can’t afford to pay for this service on a regular basis, but I thought I really needed the help to get me started on my decluttering mission and I’m so glad I did. I will definitely ask Pauline back in a couple of weeks/months time if I have the money. In the meantime I will try my best to donate items every time I buy something new and try to only have what I need and use. Thanks Pauline, I’m starting to love my home again x my daughter was definitely impressed and had a big smile on her face when she came home from college.
