The work with Jenny was sometimes pretty challenging for me. It wasn’t always easy to open up to pieces I would never have gone to on my own, but together, we gently pushed up the door to some new styles and ideas. For example: I love my free standing dining table (Jennys idea), now, which I would never had been chosen by my own. It feels like a warm smile now, when I come home. It really makes such a difference. The whole process was like letting in more light, love and the idea of playfulness (with a citron yellow cushion for example;-) in my house. And on the the same time everything looks so modern and stylish. I enjoy this every day. Thank you Jenny!

House Clearing with Jenny Hayes When I began my house clearing project with Jenny I had no idea what it was going to entail. I had some vague idea that I was going to be clearing out a lot of old stuff from wardrobes, cupboards and drawers, and re-arrange rooms, but never imagined the depth the whole process would bring to my life and the way I live in my home. Jenny brings her gentleness and delicacy and respect to the way of working with each individual person and allows time for the relationship to develop as the work goes on. Slowly, slowly it becomes clear what is happening, and how much more there is to clearing the house than the basically practical. I have found it is a clearing of myself, all my attachments to beliefs and ideals, my continually practised habits, my long held onto emotions and prejudices, what I thought were my needs, so that I develop a new and deeper relationship with myself. Each article of clothing, every picture on the wall, books, my office work, how a room feels, and so many more things, -- all are brought to my notice, and I begin to feel more, and become aware of the space around me. Room by room we move through the house and transformation takes place, and when I walk back into it there is clarity and light and space and that is reflected back at me so that I feel clear and light and spacious. And everything is organised and in its appropriate place, and easy to lay my hands on, and very simple. The way Jenny holds me in absolute Love, never imposing, only suggesting and offering me a new way to look at and feel things, allows me to let all the feelings of loss, resistance to change, and insecurity come up and be expressed and cleared. I have learned how I cling onto so much unnecessary stuff to make me feel safe, and this letting go is often a painful process, but with Jenny I am guided with such an honouring support which has allowed me to come through to feeling how wonderful it is to shed these things and ways of doing, and allow change and begin to enjoy living in and moving around in my home. It has taught me also to claim my own authority from a place of integrity. With more depth of feeling I have found that some choices to throw things out I made in the past were not from a true place. This is quite a shock and brought up for me a deep sense of sadness for not living from my own discernment. The patterns that have been exposed are being turned around, I am learning to live myself in my life. With this comes a feeling of joy and freedom within me. And I move with more sensitivity, gentleness and a tender loving touch. Jenny is a living example of her own work, and this enables me to feel her integrity and authenticity in our work together. I recommend anyone who feels their life needs a complete change and new perspective to consider taking the risk and giving it a try. It is true value.

Jenny not only helped me to de-clutter, re-vamp and transform my wardrobe from one which was packed full with 2 or 3 items per hanger to one with space, where clothes are visible and accessible with one item per hanger but in the process helped to transform my relationship with clothes and with myself! No mean feat! It was revealing to see and feel how I had previously chosen clothes - sometimes to hide, draw attention, or with an attitude of ‘that’ll do’, rather than because I loved and felt great in the specific clothes I was choosing and which allowed the whole of me to be seen. I had gathered a significant amount of clothes, shoes and bags over the years and it was a major process to go through everything and choose what to keep and what to let go - a process that Jenny lovingly holds the space for and facilitates with grace and care and a natural felt sense of what works and what doesn’t, with no imposing. Gorgeous shoes that had been hidden and rarely worn are now resurrected and given a new lease of life - transforming an outfit and how it feels. It was fun to have Jenny create ‘new' outfits from items in my wardrobe that I would not have put together - and in the process develop a ‘new look’ - it was amazing to feel the difference a few simple changes can make. Letting go of so much was powerful and healing - clearing out not just physical items but ways of seeing and dressing myself that no longer fit with the woman I am today. I am delighted with the results of my wardrobe de-cluttering and I know there is no way this would have been achieved without the help, support, skill and natural ability that Jenny has for this work - I can highly recommend her to you. The ripple effects of this process are ongoing - it has inspired me to keep de-cluttering the rest of my house and maybe even consider some interior re-decorating - and I know just person to ask for help with this too - “hello Jenny…”

I got curious about Jenny from reading a couple of blogs about clients who have had sessions with her, and decided that I wanted to explore my relationships with clothes. To set the scene, I love clothes and good design. I know what looks good and I wear it well. But deep down I knew that my wardrobe contained too much stuff and I was not sure it was truly hitting the mark. So I booked a session. Life-changing it was. And I don’t use those words lightly. In my sessions, I saw so clearly how much hiding I do with my clothes, how many pictures I draw for others - here is corporate Sarah, here is fun Sarah, here is sexy Sarah, here is weekend Sarah, here is capable Sarah, here is don’t mess with me Sarah - you get the ‘picture’. So many of my clothes were not truly supporting me to be me. They were about presenting a picture of me to the world. They were not there to showcase my beauty, my grace, my power, my delicacy, and my strength. I saw that I was showcasing them, and not them showcasing me. Held in the loving embrace of the exquisitely honest Jenny Hayes, I got to feel the truth of my clothes - not the stories of ‘how much I paid for it’ ‘how much fun I had wearing / buying it’, not the recognition I got for wearing it, not the ‘how rockin do I look in this’. I got to to feel does this item feel true to me - Sarah Flenley. If it was a yes, it stayed and I got to feel how amazing clothes can feel on my body. If it was maybe, some stayed, some went, and then the no’s hit the recycling bags. And now my wardrobe feels amazing - beyond what I ever thought possible. I have done previous culls before and these sessions took it to a whole new level. You know how many of us only wear 20% of our wardrobes? Well my 80% has gone and it feels amazing. And the 20% was actually quite surprising as to what made the cut. I now open my wardrobe and I see space, lightness and simplicity. I know that each item has been lovingly chosen to support me to be more me in the world. Packing is a complete dream, the simplicity of what to wear is phenomenal, and the lightness from removing the excess clothes and excess stories & pictures…priceless!

If you are just wanting advice on which clothes look good on you, then Jenny probably isn't the person for you. My sessions with Jenny were profound, challenging, joyful and inspiring. She supported me to become very aware of how each piece of clothing felt as I tried it on, rather than basing my wardrobe on what looks 'good' or 'will do'. Through this process I have re-discovered the delicate, sexy, precious woman I am and can feel which clothes enhance or detract from this. Once you feel this for yourself you just cant compromise. I am sure you will love Jenny and the depth and wisdom she brings to these sessions as much as I have.

Jenny was a joy to work with. Commissioned to re-design my home, we went through the process step by step. First was to de-clutter my whole flat, before design and re-decoration of living room, bedroom, hall and stairs could begin. She guided me to be aware of how I was living, take steps to clear everything excessive or no longer supportive and move on. Jenny is authentic, deeply intuitive, a designer with heart. She develops a close relationships with clients, understands who they are and what is needed. She's respectful, honest, funny and inspiring. On completion my life and home were transformed. My home is now spacious, clear, nurturing and above all beautiful A true alchemist and highly recommended

I remember, even as a child, not caring about what I wore. Often what I did wear was really just to hide my beauty and I used clothes to make me look ugly. One time I remember choosing glasses similar to my Das which did absolutely nothing for me. As I did not care for what I wore I got all the hand-me-downs from relatives, friends and boyfriends. On reflection they did not support me at all in being me or as a woman - they were more masculine, very simple and completely random. As a teenager I used clothes to show off. I thought it was sexy. But rather than being sexy it was actually rather cheap as my self worth and self-confidence were just beyond zero. I was using my wardrobe to hide, to keep me small, not allowing myself to shine at all, preferring big baggy clothes that hid my shape. When I moved halfway across the world I had the opportunity to change my wardrobe twice in two and a half years - which I did - but I still chose to hide. Some years later I got a sense that it is more than ok to be and show your own beauty - it was then that I understood the importance of clothes. I soon found myself inspired to wear dresses. I went shopping on my own and began to choose and wear clothes because of how they felt rather than from a picture of what they may look like on. My style changed and I pretty much threw away all the hand-me-down clothes that I had once got from others. I thought I'd changed my old patterns...but I hadn't, and it's only recently that I have come to really understand and appreciate this. So I invited the incredible Jenny Hayes to my home for a wardrobe session. When Jenny came I learned so much more about myself than just about my clothes. She would ask me to chose and in this I could not play the game of following someone else's lead, nor could I try and please, nor could I escape. I noticed how much I was shying away from eye contact with her. What was great was that I was able to be honest and that it was possible to share everything I observed with Jenny. It was not just about getting rid of old clothes and buying new ones - there were so many clothes and things in my house that I was emotionally hanging on to. They were not supporting me at all - all we could see were choices of a young girl or an old woman, but nowhere was there me. Together with Jenny's support I went through my wardrobe and every item of clothing I owned. At the beginning it was quite challenging to chose but Jenny supported me through this process so well and had the perfect recipe of patience and loving encouragement. By the evening we had almost been through everything, all I had to do was chose, Jenny took care of the rest - I felt so supported - we got rid of 16 bags of clothes that were not me - I couldn't believe I had so much. We made a list of what would support me moving forward to complement all that I had left and then we went shopping - it was so much fun. We rested, chatted, shopped and got everything on the list but without even trying. Once we were home we lovingly and systematically hung everything away - there was still a sense of space in the cupboard which felt beautiful. The next day I was so looking forward to opening up my wardrobe and taking the time to really chose what to wear and to put on my make up. It felt so different. Now I feel really supported in my clothes and I love to look beauty-full just for me. I give a huge special thanks to Jenny. You definitely have been my angel. This is and stays a great platform from which I can stand on and walk forward from...let's see I may well do this every decade with you again as I feel it is so so power-full.

Not too long ago I had the pleasure of revamping my wardrobe, this wasn't something I intended to do nor had I considered there was anything wrong with my wardrobe, though a friend suggested that I spend some time sorting through my clothing collection. Jenny & I went through the whole of my wardrobe together, which took a couple of hours and by the time we were finished I was down to less than half of what I had in there. I was amazed to discover the amount of clothes that I hardly wore, some I never wore and some that just didn't really suit me or even fit me properly. Jenny's approach was simple and honest. Though essentially I was making the choice to keep my clothes or get rid of them, Jenny was unbiased and supportive simply asking me to question each item as I tried them on. What I loved about the process was how Jenny got me to connect with how I felt with each piece of clothing I tried on, and this was the deciding factor for me, from there the choice was easy. Jenny's method was certainly unique and I would highly recommend her services as I have found them to be invaluable, not only on the day but every time I try anything on now, I always use Jenny's advice. To follow up we went shopping together to fill the gaps left in my wardrobe and again Jenny's eye and feeling for what would work for me was amazing. Shopping for me before this used to be a necessity but it was an absolute joy to go with Jenny as again I thoroughly enjoyed her approach, her enthusiasm was unwavering and I could really feel her passion and commitment.

The job Jenny did to support me decluttering my wardrobe and renewing it plus decluttering my home supported my whole family to change patterns we had within our family structure. I highly recommend Jenny for her dedication to simplicity.

Jenny is all about fun, lightness, going deeper, getting honest and never loosing sight of playfulness during the process, because that is simply what she represents. Two life-changing days with Jenny that literally brought love to our house. The worth of this session is still disclosing. Not only did I understand heaps about self-worth, style, true sexiness and being light, when Jenny was here at hom Having true love in the house is something that never ceases to unfold and expand. So with every day I open my cupboard or go shopping the session goes on and my awareness and fun around clothing and wardrobe is ever growing.

I read two blogs on Jenny’s work and for some insane reason I thought - yes I know it is my time, my wardrobe needs a clear out. I say 'insane reason' as my wardrobe went from padded to spartan in 3 sessions! Yet I can only share that it has been the most incredible opportunity. I now only have things in my wardrobe that I love, not just like, I mean love. As a result, I don’t have much choice about what I wear but I mix and match in different ways and so far, 6 months later and 2 seasons later I have only needed to buy 1 t-shirt and 1 pair of boots. I never thought it was possible. I used to buy clothes to make myself feel better, now I actually get proper help in that area - far cheaper than my shopping trips and much more long lasting. Once I started I found it hard to stop and our whole house has had a clear out. Everywhere feels lighter. It was such a great opportunity and highly recommended.
