She encourages you to try and see past flash-pan trends that’ll feel dated in a year's time and to really understand what actually you’ll always treasure, but we also 'cherry picked' (the best bits) a few items from various styles and trends so that the space wasn't a strict 'theme' and I could easily swap and change items in the years to come. This was all quite enlightening as I realised I do get swept up in ‘the latest thing’, and whilst spending copious amounts of money I’m never actually satisfied long term….the size of my wardrobe can attest to that!
