I'm a Space & Photo Organiser in N Yorks, member of APDO, and guest writer for Houzz. I love to help people regain their love for their home by sorting through their accumulated possessions and helping them to make decisions to reduce, recycle and release items that are no longer needed or loved. Providing support through the decluttering process and hopefully changing bad habits and unhelpful thought patterns along the way, I can also follow up your declutter with restyling your room to complete the transformation.

Hannah provided an extremely professional and friendly service, helping me to remove clutter from my bedroom and eventually helping me to rearrange the entire room. As a result, the room had a more spacious feel and the space created allowed me to fit a new work desk so that I could study from my room.

Hannah provided a 'sample decluttering service' during this visit

A stress-free and rewarding service Hannah offered great advice ahead of the decluttering visit. She kept guidance neutral and easy to follow, while keeping me relaxed about the project. On the actual visit, Hannah clearly respected my boundaries for what decluttering I felt comfortable with. She made helpful suggestions, informed by her professional expertise, and the outcome was indeed a dramatic improvement on how the space was before. Hannah's background in media and visual design clearly provided an excellent foundation for the photographs of my house, which was the purpose of her decluttering visit. Hannah also goes the extra mile, by tidying and conducting various background tasks, to make the client's experience as stress-free as possible. I really felt I could trust Hannah with the project and with my space.

I thought that sorting out my house by myself in anticipation of putting it on the market couldn't be that difficult, but with a 10 month old clinging to my ankles & a general lack of aesthetic awareness I wasn't really getting anywhere. Enter Hannah. Hannah helped me to envisage what a prospective buyer would want to see when they entered my home. She gently guided me through the proccess of starting to declutter & organise ready for viewings (& encouraged me to start packing now for the move!), and she's booked to come back to stage my home ready for estate agent photos in the new year. In short Hannah was the impetus to really 'do something about those piles of mess' as well as generally helping me to see how a small space really can be kept neat & tidy. Her professional manner was characterized by a gentle firmness, appreciating that clients may find it hard to change, but really encouraging them to 'revive their space'. I would definitely recommend her to anybody either planning a house move and/or needing motivation to declutter their home.

Rachel and I wanted to thankyou once again for your visit. Although there was a few nerves, we both got a lot out of the day. We feel empowered to carry on what we had already done prior to your visit, and especially so since meeting you. We've got lots of ideas forming and look forward to letting you know about them in the near future. Take care Daniel and Rachel. (Additional comments)... Hannahs knowledge and experience of the work she does was evidently very good and made us think clearer about our decluttering/storage. We 'worked' very well with Hannah to accomplish our goals. It was also very obvious how well Hannah was able to work with others as Rachel and I really got on well with her and we felt relaxed in her company. This ultimately made a huge difference in how we managed our possessions, and whether or not we kept, sold or threw them away.

I called on Hannah's help both before and after moving house. With 2 and then 3 children at home, finding time to sort out what we no longer need is almost impossible! Hannah helped practically with an extra pair of hands to sort through accumulated clothes, toys etc, motivated me to finish the sorting, provided me with 'outside' perspective on how to use our space and even had some play time to distract my youngest from 'helping' with the decluttering.
