Our house had become an unmanageable mess. . Living with 3 boys with ADD/ASD who like to collect things and never tidy up by putting anything away. My house was clutterred. Every weekend I would try and tidy, but it never really worked.
It has really been affecting my mental health.
So employing Sam has been so worth it, gradually one area at a time, we have worked hard together to sort and tidy.
I have managed to train the family where their possessions should go !
I now have the entrance hall so well organised thanks to Sams' skills.
I have 2 rooms that now feel calm and usable to their potential.
Its the one thing that I feel really happy about right now, having the space back.
For me its been a life saver.

With a busy job and home, certain tasks weren't leaving my long to-do list. A loft room had turned into an "everything" area and needed organisation - the task was daunting alone. After consultation, I hired Sam for two days. We worked to gather, sort and tidy everything. Sam quickly learned my thoughts on 'bin / keep / charity' which was super helpful. That said, Sam always asked when it was something different to the agreed so I never felt uncomfortable in the process over my belongings. The loft looked great and it felt really good to finally get sorted and give to charity all the excess. This led me to book more days with Sam to work through my list! Organised so far - home office, kitchen pantry, wardrobes, bathroom cabinets, important/confidential paperwork with a new filing system and overhaul of some storage areas. All labelled up too! Sam's advice on storage solutions has been great - Amazon and The Range have everything. Sam is very trustworthy (alone in my home when on errands) and is really not phased by anything - her last task was folding a gazillion wardrobe items. We will be doing a garage overhaul in the summer (10 years since the last one!). I highly recommend Sam for solo or together organisation projects. I've got so much back from taking the plunge!

July - September 2019. I hired Sam for 11 days over the summer holidays. To say that Sam has decluttered my home is an understatement, she has actually changed my life. I now live well and am happy in my home. She is the consummate professional and absolutely great to work with. No judging, I felt completely comfortable. It was an enjoyable experience! In addition, I have learnt about myself and changed my habits to keep things organised. What a relief. I feel positive and motivated to keep things in order and I have done. This is the best money I have spent in years! When it was first suggested by my daughter to get someone on to re-organise/de-clutter my kitchen I was a little sceptical/nervous. But thinking it through, I wondered why I did not enjoy being in my kitchen very much.
When Sam came for the initial consultation she was so passionate about her work and very quickly put me at ease and talked me through the whole process.
The work began and I could not believe how therapeutic it felt clearing each area in such an organised and stress-free fashion. Sam made amazing changes and when the task was complete my whole feeling towards my kitchen changed. I now love being in there and discovered a new way to enjoy preparing, cooking and serving as all my utensils are in a much easier/more logical place.

I've had a few sessions with Sam now. Given it was a process I thought I'd dread, I'm amazed how much I look forward to them! Sam is very sensitive & diplomatic in her approach, gently suggesting solutions. She never judges & is always good fun to work with. I cannot rate the company and Sam highly enough. We faced difficult times with a recent bereavement and a pile of accumulated items from about 3 generations back and did not know where to start. I was recently faced with what seemed like the insurmountable task of sorting out 30 years’ worth of inherited paperwork in preparation of our office relocation. I enlisted the help of Sam from Untangled - Professional Decluttering & Organising and she was a godsend! What she achieved in a couple of days would have taken me weeks to do on my own. Sam was focused, logical, objective and extremely organised. She had several clever ideas that saved an enormous amount of time and ensured that we were ready to move by our deadline. We now have properly labelled files, following a uniform and easily maintainable system as well as archives that are neatly boxed and clearly labelled. When I asked Sam to come over I was not very sure I was doing the right thing, because it feels like organising is something we shud be able to do by ourselves, Also I felt like if I was being too much of a hipster. I am very happy I went ahead and called her in. I hired her for 1 full day 6 hours. We were able to accomplish a lot during this time. She works tirelessly and keeps going :-) . She is very easy to work with, and has a very pleasant personality. She is really non judgemental and not at all pushy, I was happy to see her able to persuade and work with difficult personalities smoothly ;-) She knows her job very well and has given us very good ideas which is keeping our stuff in place and house is not turning back into chaos.
This whole exercise really helped me a lot, I will be calling her again to help with the some remaining bits of the house as well. The momentum generated by doing this exercise has kept me going in arranging a few other areas in the house by myself as well.

Sam was an absolute pleasure to deal with and an incredibly hard worker.
She came to our house told us how long she thought it would take and gave us a quote.
Sam then arrived promptly and did the bulk of the lifting and carrying, including labeling everything very clearly before taking it up to the loft while my heavily pregnant wife instructed her on what to keep, what to store, what to throw away and what to give to charity. i cannot thank her enough it is like living in a different house with every room spotless including the spare room which was a junk room and now is ready to be a nursery. If you are looking at your house thinking It is a mess or I need more space call Untangled and it will make your life easier.
