Debbie Hoare at LSO took my domestic ideas and developed them in a way a could never have imagined. I found her to be very professional and excellent at offering practical and workable solutions. “After extensive research we appointed Wighton Architects for our renovation and extension of a 4 bed Victorian house. From the very start of the process, Stuart impressed us with his eye for detail and aesthetic consideration. He presented multiple concepts, all of which were well considered and met the needs of our family and 'wish list'. Once we decided on the design, he worked very well with the planning department in Waverley despite being based in Leeds and smoothly gained permission. He played a key role in appointing the building contractor and then as project manager throughout in collaboration with the builder. His approach meant that the timetable was kept on track and any issues with the building firm swiftly and amicably resolved. He brought the project in on budget which was impressive given the scale of work. I have no hesitation in recommending Stuart and Wighton Architects.”

“James provided full design and planning for our 2 story extension. He provided an excellent service, his design found a solution to a layout problem we'd been unable to fathom ourselves and we are very happy with the outcome. James was always available, gave excellent advice and won over the planning authority to give us what we wanted. He was great value for money and I have recommended him to friends.”

“I’ve worked with this company a few times now and have been thrilled with all aspects of our dealings. We have had both basement conversion plans done (with building regs all sorted for us etc) and have had a ground floor extension planned, built and supported by the team. We’ve been so happy with the results of our extension and the space really has maximised our space and transformed our home. We found Spencer brilliant to work with. He’s always gotten to know exactly what we are looking to achieve and has listened to my crazy ideas, but then always come up with a way to achieve them (or he’s often come up with far better alternatives!) We’ve also had support from the company in the form of party wall representation when there was building work next to our house and this was a great comfort to know there was someone who took time to get to know our house so well and was there to ensure we remained protected throughout the experience. I really would highly recommend to anyone.”

“We used this company to help us remodel a tired 1930's house with lots of small dark rooms into a stunning bright and airy modern home. Their vision was fantastic adding a full height front extension to bring the stairs out of the central footprint, creating extra space and bringing light to the previously dark front spaces. This created a full height entrance hall and helped give us two extra rooms in a previously small attic space. Internally they tied all the spaces together with clever design features giving us a house where every space is used and the house is quite literally a joy to live in! They persuaded us to invest in making the external envelope as air tight and well insulated as possible and fit an MVHR system. Initially we were very sceptical but are now delighted with the thermal performance of the house both in summer and winter. They were thoroughly professional throughout dealing positively and practically with the inevitable challenges along the way. Our contractor had never done anything like this before and they supported him technically when necessary. Their clever design and attention to detail added significantly to the value of the finished property and we could never have achieved this on our own.”

“Nathan listened and sought to understand our wishes from the initial meeting and then worked with us to produce a design that fully realised our goals. Our final plans incorporated many of Nathan's innovative eco-friendly suggestions and 3D images which enhanced our original vision. His preparation was very thorough and he produced highly detailed drawings, enabling us to go to builders with confidence. We would highly recommend Ikonografik Design.”

“We initially engaged ParkDesigned (Edward) as a consultant to explore options with our property. Their enthusiasm and design flair turned a dubious ill thought out previous extension into a light filled, modern and very practical place to live. They were able to manage the whole design and planning process which certainly kept stress low. Park also provided us with recommendations re builders which we followed and they also provided management in this aspect as well and although one or two snags occurred during the 9 month project they were dealt with in a professional manner and too our satisfaction I would strongly recommend them - they are currently working on a new project for me and that says it all !”
