He is able to interpret clients ideas produce furniture in either contemporary or traditional styles. He has done individual items of furniture and whole room projects. He has undertaken work for several of our friends and family, who have all been delighted with the furniture Darren has produced.”

“Alan has done various pieces of work for me over the last 30 years including kitchen refurbishment, bespoke cupboards, shelving, stable doors, chair repairs etc. The most recent was less than 2 years ago when he made a superb front door and frame in European oak. I have always found his work to be excellent.”

“I have been using Surrey Wardrobes for various projects over the past years. These have been for private clients, supplying and fitting wardrobes, bookcases and other cabinetry, i have also used Edgar to supply and fit kitchens for our clients where a more bespoke design is required. They have also worked with us on a nursery school group, supplying and fitting bookcases, kitchens and storage units. Edgar has been involved in the fit-out of various restaurants in West London where our company were leading the design and project management, carrying out joinery work amongst cabinetry. Surry wardrobes are very professional, offer value whatever the budget and Edgar is a very nice guy to deal with. So good i used them in my own home.... I would recommend them highly”

“Alex and his team were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Alex has a calm professional manner and is very knowledgeable and consequently creates innovative and bespoke items to fit the requirement specific to your home. We started with “made to measure cupboards in our loft conversion followed by wall to wall heavy duty shelves and a desk in our study and finally radiator covers! All items were made to a very high quality and the bespoke furniture looks fabulous in our family home! Highly recommend Alex and his highly skilled team.”

“Simply, stunning workmanship, design and ideas ‘Flair’ the tech that Mike uses in his work is mind blowing. We contracted Mike to make several shop furniture items for EYES on St Albans opticians, most notably the branded ‘Z’ stools made from sustainably grown solid oak. I would strongly and highly recommend Mike and his team and WILL be using these guys again.!!”

“Steve has done two jobs for me: a kitchen (door fronts, wall cabinets, open shelves and work tops); and some living room shelf units. As an architect, I found Steve an excellent collaborator - he had a significant creative and practical input into both designs (providing very useful advice on materials, including shelf lights, and on design constraints). He has exceptionally high standards and is a meticulous finisher. He is very good value and, on top of that, has an easy unruffled manner.”
