“Having investigated many kitchen designs, certain features were important to me, namely: •Being able to interact when cooking so not facing walls when cooking •Not having any clutter on work surfaces •Having room to work and cook without worry I spent many happy weeks drawing and re-drawing my ideas trying to get a design that worked, and then by chance, whilst Christmas shopping in Canterbury, popped into City Kitchen Centre and met with Malcolm. It was an inspirational meeting and we ended up staying for a couple of hours. Martin’s years of experience soon found gaping holes with my designs, and flaws which would have resulted in an extremely poor kitchen design and installation. Over the next 6-8 weeks we worked Closely with City Kitchen Centre and with Malcom’s understanding of what I wanted to achieve, and his years of experience in kitchen design, a kitchen design was finally formed which not only flowed but was functional and practical and stylish. City Kitchen Centre project managed the installation from start to finish, without a single hiccup. Their recommendations for kitchen appliances were spot on, resulting in a kitchen that is beyond whatever we could have wished for. The associated pictures of our kitchen were taken in November 2020, some 2 years after the installation, and the kitchen still appears “As New”. We would not hesitate to recommend City Kitchen Centre and their installers to anyone embarking on a project such as ours.”

“Joe hand crafted us a bespoke kitchen last year. His workmanship is outstanding and attention to detail exact. We couldn't be more thrilled with the beautiful and unique product he created for us. Our house is oak framed so Joe had to contend with posts, sole plates and awkward angles when designing something functional, practical and fantastic. We had very specific design ideas but we were also open to suggestions about how to use the space that we had. Joe was able to offer some drawings showing his designs some of which we liked and some of which we didn't but he was unfazed and offered alternatives. Joe's knowledge of wood and his love of the product he uses to create something stunning shine through with each conversation we had about it. He clearly cares as much about the inside of the carcasses as he does the outside. Our kitchen was constructed over a period of 12 weeks and the initial timelines did slip but the work was completed to infinitely high standards. As a result of Joe's work we asked him back to build two vanity units for our bathrooms, again battling with posts and sole plates. He sourced some zebrano wood for us after piquing our interest when we went to his showroom to look at our kitchen under construction. The kitchen budget was something we discussed with Joe from the very outset and he came back within what we had budgeted. Our bespoke, hand built kitchen came in at around £12,000. Joe is a professional in both his craft and ability to deal with customers. Polite, friendly and willing to do the very best he can for you.”
