“I have an incredible respect for Sven as an artist. He is creative, pays attention to detail and has an amazing vision. Sven and his team have been worked with me on several projects over the past three years. Collectively, they've shown a lot of respect for me and my home, met deadlines on every project and transformed my four walls into a unique work of art. Below is a list of projects Sven has completed for me. Before we begin, Sven and I meet to discuss my goals and budget. He usually shows me samples of ideas that may work. He always creates a board using my colors; then he begins. For some projects, I've gotten to the point where I describe what I want and just let him paint. He understands my style and I have complete faith in his ability to deliver a finished product that is exactly what I have in mind. He has never let me down. KITCHEN, - this is the first project Sven and his team worked on...it snowballed into painting the entire first floor of my home as well as upstairs hallways connected to my two story foyer. I just couldn't stop at the kitchen! When remodeling my kitchen, I found that my cabinets were in great condition and really didn't need replacing, just updating. Sven (and team) hand painted my cabinets a soft tan and applied a brown glaze. They are gorgeous and became the basis of the remainder of the first floor. He used the color of the cabinets as a base for the tone on tone glazed walls of the kitchen, family room, two story foyer and upstairs connecting hallways. Because of the difference in natural light from one part of the house to another, it appears that we have the same technique, but varying colors - which I love! We picked out solid shades of brown for the living room and dining room, which flank the foyer. HALF BATH - also part of the first floor project. Sven suggested using metallic in this room. I don't consider myself very trendy and asked for other ideas. He created a few boards for me following my thoughts, but none of them clicked. Then he arrived with a metallic board and it was gorgeous! It actually matched a section of the mirror I wanted to use in the bathroom perfectly. I figured it was fate and agreed to the metallic...a decision I have not regretted. I have received numerous compliments on the bathroom. GUEST BATH - I upgraded to granite counter tops and purchased a new mirror to place over the sink. I really had no idea what I wanted the end result to be, so I showed Sven all the fabrics I would be using in the adjacent guest room and asked him for suggestions. He painted my cabinets to match my decorative mirror exactly. I couldn't believe it! It's like the cabinets and mirror came together. For the walls, we went with solid and glazed stripes. MASTER SUITE - This is the most recent project Sven and his team have worked on. I purchased new bedding, matching fabric for bathroom window treatments, new tile and granite. Sven arrived full of ideas as usual. We worked together to come up with a vision for the finished product. Also as usual, Sven nailed it! In addition, he painted the rods for my window treatments and frames for the new mirrors over the vanity. I truly smile every time I walk into the master suite. It's just beautiful. FURNITURE, ETC. - Kitchen table - I have a glass top, iron base table. I gave Sven a granite sample and he decoratively painted the base to match. Fireplace - my fireplace was standard red brick and white mantle. Sven painted my brick in shades of brown & tan. He also gave me a faux grained mantle (it really looks like wood now!). This really transformed the family room. Built-in bookshelves - Sven actually helped me design the built-ins to match another bookshelf in my family room. He suggested colors to match my new window treatments and furniture. Of course they turned out great! I highly recommend Sven and his team for any size project. I have never been disappointed and have always felt the amount I've paid is justified and worth it. I wish I could list every compliment I have received on my home...there have been so many! It is truly beautiful because of Sven.”
