I have bought two cushions from Adaliza now, after seeing her stand at River Cottage last year and am very happy with them, they are lovely designs and very well made. Would not hesitate to recommend her.

I bought two quilts from Adaliza, 1 for my daughter and a present for friend's baby. They are beautifully made and the fabrics are gorgeous. They also wash brilliantly! They are also lovely heirlooms to keep for generations.

I discovered Adaliza Quilts at a Food Fair in the Spring and was immediately taken by the quality of the work and beautiful designs. I was looking for someone to make memory quilts out of my children's baby clothes and this was something Val had done in the past. After email communication, photos of previous commissions we went ahead with the project. We chatted throughout the project and I was kept up to date with the progress and I even had a couple of sneak peeks! I received the quilts a few days ago and they are spectacular: so much more than I had anticipated, with lots of personal detail and so much care taken with every piece of fabric! They are delightful and I will treasure them always. I am not sure if anyone else would of managed to create what Val has done - I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Very helpful and knowledgeable Patchwork Quilt maker. Offered pertinent ideas and carried out the commission exactly to order, finishing it ahead of the timescale. She makes other craft based items all original.good quality pieces and I would highly recommend her.

I wanted to give my niece and daughter a special quilt which they could learn to crawl on and would keep for years but I'm useless at sewing so I couldn't do it myself. Val asked me to suggest themes which would mean something to the children. I chose the seaside for my niece (because she lives on the coast) and 'a walk in the park' for my daughter. Val was extremely sensitive to the colours and styles I wanted and sent lots of pictures of fabrics and colour combinations to choose from. She even looked for new fabrics to enhance the effect. Val created stunning, dynamic quilts which have a wide range of patterns and images to enjoy and talk about. They are genuine works of a art with a bright, fresh feel, which the children can interact with and play on for years. She also designed and made an embroidery cushion for my cousin's wedding which marked their occasion in a non-sentimental way which felt right for them and a small personalised cushion for a friend's daughter which I was proud to give. She was professional to work with, produced flawless work and encouraged me to feedback openly so the process felt creative and exciting. I would recommend her to anyone wanting to give a special, individual present which is good value, unique to them and genuinely comes from the heart.

I met Adaliza at her stall in Alton.
I bought a hand sewn Farmyard quilt, from Adaliza, for my great-nephew as a birth present. His parents were absolutely delighted with it especially as it was personalised with his name. Adaliza has made me a loyal customer and I will certainly recommend her to others. Her professionalism is second to none.

I have had the amazing privelige of having Adaliza (Val) to make my dreams come true by realising my vision. She made me not one, but four beautiful memory quilts of varying sizes which are all made from my families clothing from our wedding day, our twins births and their clothes and ours during that time. Val stuck well within my timeframe and finished all four quilts way ahead of schedule for the twins 18th birthdays. This project was a huge undertaking and a massive labour of love. Val understood my vision from day one and added some beautiful personalised touches from just listening to me talk about my family. Every piece of patchwork is carefully worked and wonderful to look at and touch. My double quilt is on my bed and has already been wrapped around my daughter when she was cold one evening. My daughter has taken hers to university and it is lovely to know she has a little bit of home with her. I can not recommend Val highly enough. She is professional and understanding and kept me informed all the way through the project - making me cry tears of joy when I received every quilt. She sent me photos of the stages she went through and I have taken photos too - I am happy to send them but unable to see how to put them on here as I am a luddite who loves cosy quilts! Thanks for everything Val. You are simply wonderful at your job and I am so grateful for the lasting memories in our quilts rather than a loft full of clothes I never see. This is everything I wanted and so much more.

I found Val one Saturday at a stall in Winchester. She was selling a 'Round the Mulberry Bush' patchwork quilt for a toddler. I was in awe of the quality and attention to detail. Naturally, I bought it for my daughter. I then commissioned Val to make a bespoke patchwork quilt for my bed with matching pillowcases. The quality was outstandng, as was the attention to detail; her knowledge of patterns, materials etc is brilliant and can I relay in only so many words the exceptional quality of product and service I received. Another bespoke order is pending!!

Commented: How to improve the front of this house? Not keen on the tiles!Rather than render, that can stain (my neighbour's new render keeps having to be redone as it's stained in the corners of the window and is now beginning to break up, despite being carried out by spec...
