I had a fantastic experience working with Claudia on the design of my new flat. The entire process, from viewing the space to creating the mood board and selecting colors, materials, and furniture, was easy and well organized. Especially the customized ideas that matched the flat’s style and the unique details helped me a lot. I can highly recommend her!

Really disappointed in the project overall. I paid over a thousand pounds and ended up with designs that I am not happy with and that we cannot iterate on. James said he would get back to me to address this but never did. Would not recommend.

We hired Akiva to help us visualise our entire ground floor renovation and I honestly could not be happier. Their attention to detail is beyond anything I have experienced before. They have a system in place to keep all the communication in one place which is very handy for when my husband has time to catch up on the days conversations and decision making, saving me from having to repeat myself. I took a mixture of premium makeover packages and Deluxe, plus one furniture design package for the shoe storage I had in mind. I was presented with a series of mood boards along with technical design in colour and a shopping list. I am considering their procurement package as it seems very beneficial financially with the pricing they can get my furniture for. They also recommended a builder too, who I will probably go with. All in all a top service!

I booked a 10 hour consultancy. Half way through the process I get a (very stressful) message from the designer saying that they had a different scope to what I believe I had booked. This was clarified with the manager, and work was due to continue as I had originally booked - I was promised I would get a status on hours spent and time left, so I could help prioritise time. This never happened and now I am left - 5 months into a 10 hour project - with half finished work. Other issues include: * I would have to repeatedly chase for updates on my project, sometimes not hearing back for weeks at a time (again, this was a 10 hour project) * I was never shared a status on hours spent * Often when I would double check the measurements on items suggested, they would not work in the space * In addition to following up with the designer, I repeatedly tried to reach out to the manager (who was very responsive pre-sale) about the issues I was occurring - email after email and message after message were not responded to Overall they have taken what should have been a fun, joyous project and made it feel like a very expensive and stressful experience. I sent an email to both the designed and manager ahead of writing this review to try and discuss my concerns and come to a resolution, which is also left unanswered after a week.

It has been a pleasure to work with Ivana and the team. Ivana really listens and provides excellent designs that reflect your personality and style. She is great to deal with and works conscientiously.

We have used Akiva to revamp outdated interior of our living room, hallway and the master bedroom. It has been a pleasure working with the team, they are extremely experienced and knowledgeable but also very conscientious in listening and taking feedback on board to tweak the proposals. They have been extremely helpful in suggesting items to purchase and being on hand to manage procurement. I've used Akiva now twice to design our airbnb rentals in the states. The ease of using them remotely is great! The designs and shopping lists they created made my life so much easier, and on top of that both rentals have been booked non stop! I always recommend them to anyone looking for an interior designer. Very happy with the process and end result! I recently bought a house and was looking to decorate and furnish my oddly shaped open plan living/dining room/kitchen. My designer Betina from Akiva was a great help from start to finish, taking the time to understand my style preferences and helping bring together my loosely related ideas. The process was iterative and I am very pleased with the final design and furniture list. I particularly appreciated Betina's honesty where she thought a suggestion might not work best and her helpful counter- suggestions that I would not have thought of myself (for instance to add board and batten paneling to create a completely seamless look for my new under stairs storage / the adjacent wall, which has now turned into a fantastic feature). I also appreciated that both Betina and James were very much on top of things, driving the process forward but patient when I was taking a while to decide or changed my mind on certain items. Would definitely recommend and thought the price was very reasonable too.

Good service - the whole team was responsive and easy to work with. Ivana the interior designer had some great ideas around changing the kitchen door which opened up a lot of space and light, and also with the blinds/curtains to help us get both privacy, day light and black out at night! We used their recommended contractor Saed who did a fantastic job on the flat. Really good workmanship on repaint, fitting the kitchen and fixing/improving the joinery. James was very helpful throughout managing for the project and organising procurement. No real hiccups, my only thought was I felt that we could have been better advised about budget. The finish was what we wanted but it was considerably more than we were expecting. Overall it was very good experience. Thank you Akiva!

Ivana has designed our open plan living /dining area. It followed the brief and fitted in the budget and it looks great! The team likes to stick to the deadlines, so active communication is important. This experience was useful to us because Ivana introduced us to the shops and ideas which we can continue to use in the future in different settings! Thank you! We did not purchase all the exact items as some quality was questionable, but Ivana was there to advice if my suggested similar item would work. It does not leave much time for changes (based on package) prior the final design, but maybe that way things get done quicker! Overall, Ivana created a beautiful space with some wow factors which we wanted and we are enjoying our finished living/dining room; I would recommend Ivana!

Really enjoyed working with James and Ivana at Akiva on our loft bedroom + bathroom renovation project. They helped us redesign the space, including moving part of the staircase, expanding the bathroom, and fitting out new flooring, paint/wall tiles, and bathroom fixtures. Ivana also identified some great furniture pieces that fit the space well. She picked out clever finishing combinations we wouldn't have thought of ourselves, as well as a space-optimizing layout, and the end result has turned out great. It's obviously a lower-touch process than working with a more traditional designer, but great value for money. Would happily work with them again. Logistics/communication always very prompt and seamless via James as well.

Recently I bought a few flat and would like to personalize it. During my search, I came across Akiva Projects Ltd and would like to go with them because of the good customer reviews. I have done the right thing by choosing them, its a pleasure to work with James and Ivana. Surprised to see how well they read our minds and propose the designs accordingly. Really excited to see the final outcomes which is currently in progress. Some of them I liked, 1. Communication - Right through our journey they are very responsive. 2. Patience - At any given time they have lots of patience to explain the things in detail to me and to accommodate last minute changes, 3. Respect - They exactly know how to treat their customers with respect. 4. Budget - They will not suggest/plan anything that's beyond the budget without the customers consent. Great service. They reached out to me on the same day and offered to kick things off 2 days later. Betina was very patient and careful. She listened to all the constraints and came up with multiple ideas that worked around them. For example I have a feature wall with a strong colour and she offered different mood boards depending on whether I want to repaint or not. She was also very quick, coming up with the first designs in 2 days and finishing everything within a week. She also answered all of my follow up questions. The shopping list at the end was just what I needed.

My project involved redesigning my new house and providing a modern touch to it to make it a comfortable place to live. Very happy with our painting project. All of our interaction was virtual; mostly via the app so really flexible on timing & only a couple of video calls. The finished file was very professional - and practical with all the links I needed. Nour worked well within our budget & stuck to suggestions from our preferred stores. We were looking for some professional help for painting of our new home. Called Akiva and few others to get quotes. Akiva turned out to be the best, in terms of service and professionalism. We were introduced to Ivana, who is the designer. She is excellent in terms of her own expert knowledge, but also knows how to deal with clients and how to be patient and understand their needs. She intertwined her ideas with what we had a liking for and gave us top class advice. We followed every bit of it and the house is turning out beautifully. I contracted Akiva to design 2 bathrooms for my house. The mood board I supplied was modern tropical, with a bias towards luxury Bali spa style, and they delivered on that. Was a seamless experience, and I got 2 detailed plans and a buy list that my builder could action. I also bought the measurement service from them. I initially contacted Akiva months before deciding on acquiring their services. I finally decided to do so as their services were best fit to my needs and were more modular than others I had contacted. Accordingly, I have been able to add services along the way. From the start to present, Akiva has been very hands on and extremely easy to communicate and connect with. I was assigned Ivana as the interior curator and she instantly understood my vision, taking a very personal approach in order to give my family and I the house of our dreams. She has catered to everything, down to every detail of our personal requirements and expectations. This is very important as how a space is used in a home is very personal to those who live in it. She took time to get to know each personal individually, and went on to select furniture and accessories to match interests and dwelling preferences. She has definitely exceeded my expectations thus far! I am very happy with the progress made and looking forward to seeing how the plans come to life.

Ivana & James have been great to work with! Ivana worked much quicker than expected to help us design a small basement studio! She was very creative and thoughtful given that it was a small space but needed to fulfil many uses (sleeping, eating, lounging). We cant wait to see all of her ideas in the finished product!

First experience of using an interior design service. Friendly, with a lot of patience for my indecisiveness. I was given several ideas and different options including when I was not quite satisfied . I was impressed with the platform used to communicate. I was also given new ideas which I had not thought off.

We wanted our study transformed to function as a chill out room, a comfortable office space and a spare bedroom for guests. James appointed Ivana to work with us who was highly professional, and after some initial discussions and sharing of ideas and pictures, recommended a feature wall, using reclaimed wood planks, combined with a modern colour scheme and some really cool space saving furniture. I have chosen Akiva for project of transforming my dated living room and kitchen into pleasant contemporary open space, design of which would truly reflect what I like - both functionally and visually. I can praise Akiva for managing the entire process from initial design discussions (taking my preferences into account while giving helpful suggestions), through planning the project, overseeing the actual works, handling all the procurement (ordering what's needed, returns of faulty products), promptly addressing any unexpected hurdles and finally delivering something which definitely exceeds my expectations. I especially loved working with Akiva designer and that was key for the success of the project. Requirements for all aspects (rooms layout, kitchen, furniture, lighting) were fully understood and fine-tuned to the last detail during the project. One may think that I could have research and buy everything myself, but without experience of a professional designer it could not lead to so such amazing result. Especially designing of bespoke furniture was invaluable. Another chapter are Akiva's partners (kitchen provider and builder with subcontractors), who all were professional to the highest level, delivering 100% quality. They were not taking any shortcuts - every time issue has arisen, it was discussed with me and we always found a solution I was happy with. I love that the space has industrial touches, while retaining modern contemporary feel. Every detail is well thought out, serves me well and looks gorgeous. It is massive difference to what was here before - the project was not a small undertaking, despite that, result is amazing. I would certainly recommend Akiva to others. I wanted to work with an interior designer but wasn’t sure my budget allowed for one. The virtual design service by Akiva was the perfect halfway house. Nour came up with several great ideas that I hadn’t even thought of and unified my thoughts into a color and design palette. Very highly recommended.

I worked with Akiva Prohects to transform our office. From a dull and old fashioned working environment it was transformed to a bright , modern open plan office where staff interact easily with each other and feel motivated and upbeat because of the ambience. Our staff and customers loved our new transformed office.

I used Akiva for the design and installation of a new wet room. They were first-rate from start to finish and met my every expectation. The design of the wet room was exactly what I was looking for and installation was carried out speedily and with minimum fuss. I have no hesitation in recommending Akiva.

I found Avika Projects through Houzz (google search). Initially James contacted me. I told him my requirements. I employed them to design the hallway, sitting room and bedroom of a 2 bedroom flat. The main requirement was the make the flat look pretty, bright and colourful and incorporate / build storage. The designer James assigned to me was Gabriela. On the first day Gabriela arrived at the property promptly. She took measurements and listened to what I wanted. At the same time she gave her ideas and suggestions. Stage 1 - She then created a mood board. Stage 2 - Based on my ideas in the mood board, she created 2D images. She was receptive to any changes I wanted. For eg., I wanted the colour scheme changed for one of the rooms. She was ready to have a phone call with me, discuss my requirements and she incorporated them in the first revision. Stage 3 - She then provided me with the 3D images. That was really helpful as I could visualise how the room would look. Gabriela was again very receptive and made any quick changes I requested. Stage 4 - Compilation of the purchase list. This was very useful as it had the links of the websites I could buy the items from. Overall- it was a very smooth experience. Gabriela was on top of things and she was very quick in delivering the outputs. She also gave the correct quantity of materials and items to buy. I initially had mentioned that I would get the installation done by Avika. James and Gabriela had very effeciently organised that as well. Cost wise, I would say Avika is reasonable and they were flexible with how I could make the payment. I made the payment in 4 instalments. Gabriela was very professional and approachable. She was open to receive phone calls over the weekend - which was very useful for me. With regards to improvements: 1) I would suggest increasing the number of revisions during the production of 3D designs as often a person changes their mind and atleast 2 revisions should be included. 2) Gabriela sometimes missed a few changes which I had mentioned- but when I brought that to her attention, she corrected and made sure that the changes were incorporated in the revisions or purchase list. I contracted Akiva Projects to completely re-design and re-fit my bathroom. It's a very small bathroom but I had ambitious design ideas all the same (including replacing the bath). The team absolutely met the high standards I'd hoped for. They were very good at keeping me fully posted about the timescale, costs and variables of the projects; and I found the building team to be efficient and courteous. I'm delighted by the results and it's fair to say the bathroom is now my favourite room!

Having little experience in the renovation world - I thought it best to employ a professional with the design formy bathroom project. We purchased a vicotorian terrace which only had a single bathroom at the G level and decided to put an additional ensuite bathroom for the master bedroom upstairs. As the bedroom had no plumbing, and limited support it was a slightly larger project than first anticipated, albeit from the outset Akiva were fantastic. The design they put together was a collaboration between their experience and my demands. They made the whole process run smoothly from the outset, with communication being excellent throughout this prelimnary stage. I would note that their quote to build out the project was higher than some others we received and we therefore ended up going with another contractor, however I would definitely recommend, as we have decided that we oursevles will use them on our downstairs bathroom project in the coming months. Excellent customer service, together with a great finished project has resulted in repeat busines from us.

We worked with Gabriela on a floor and lighting design for a full remodelling of our 2-bed flat. She arrived promptly for a first site visit, listened to our ideas, measured up the place, and made some initial suggestions. Over the following days, Gabriela guided us to establish mood boards for each room that helped focus our ideas. We particularly loved the fact that she quickly understood the style we were looking for and was always prompt to react, suggest alternatives, and make adjustments as required. Gabriela’s attention to detail meant that not a single thing was left out, from flooring to ceiling lights and everything in between, all while working within the price range that we were comfortable with. Everything was neatly summarized for us in a detailed purchase list. Having agreed final plans, we were thrilled to see our ideas come to life in the 3D visuals which allowed to ensure everything is exactly like we envisioned. I hired Akiva Projects to provide us with some hi-resolution renders for a project that I have in Berlin Germany. It was no easy task and the designer I was assigned, Gabriella was amazing. Gabriella and Akivaprojects really know what they are doing when it comes to handling high-pressure clients and I was very pleased with the result. Their communication system is amazing and I was able to find any file we were working on when I needed it without going through tons of emails. We have worked with Akiva on a number of projects but the most recent was a Kensington Town House. They were very clear and concise with instructions and knew exactly what they wanted to achieve.

I enlisted Akiva Projects to completely renovate a first floor Victorian flat. It was no easy feat - completely repositioning a new kitchen and bathroom, replastering the whole property, new electrics and plumbing throughout. As I sit in my new kitchen months later it was all worth it. James pours his heart into his business and it shows. From early morning phone calls running through the specification and finding ways to make it fit within my budget right the way through to a final review call - he's a man who loves what he does and if this is your first time taking on a project as it was for me you'd be hard pressed to find someone who wants to see the same outcome as you. Elisabetta the designer on the team is one of the most creative and positive people you'll meet. She was always helpful in providing inspiration, examples and advice on what to put where. I went into the project with some firm ideas and so it was great that she didn't feel the need to push her own style, but instead adapting what I suggested and build on it. As with all projects there were some snags, but on the whole as I would recommend Akiva Projects. I spoke to a couple of people who had worked with James before I committed and I'm pleased to say their reviews held true.

We needed to 'Transform' our look and make it a place where our employees would enjoy coming to work, be inspired that would raise productively. We worked with St James Design to fit and refurbish the bathroom and kitchen in our two bed flat in East London. They were friendly, efficient and easy to work with. St James Design Interiors designed and fitted a room in our warehouse to look like a mock up of our clients modern style cafe's. They where very professional and organised in their design approach. Found them very thorough in assisting us in coming up with ideas for displaying our product and services in a real would scenario. They created a very inviting space for our customers with a barista bar and seating area with great lighting and entertainment solutions. Have recommended them to others afterwards.

As this was our first home refurb, it was a bit daunting but am extremely pleased with the experience provided by their team. As another reviewer noted, it did cost more than the estimates we obtained elsewhere - however the customer service was what made the difference. I appreciated the fact there was a structured and defined workflow for the entire process which helped make things go ultra smooth. Before the actual work we were in contact with Ele who helped design and give a 3D rendering of what everything would look like. This actually made a big difference vs just visualising using our imagination... When the work started, Alex (the project manager who also did a lot of the work) was absolutely terrific. The timeline of the entire job was put in an online document so I could see what was done each day and by whom (plumbing works on this day, plastering the next, etc..). Alex also would revise the document depending on additional works I had or if certain tasks had to be moved earlier or later. This was very useful as I could tell from early on that the project would be on time as they promised. Alex was especially great to work with. He was very dedicated and knew his stuff. Also answered a lot of random DIY questions we had too. The work was done on time and our family is very happy with the workmanship. Would not hesitate to recommend them!

James has the ability to effectively communicate, always provide clear direction and all the objectives were well defined upfront – a great pleasure to work with. Looking forward to work with him again.

I would not hesitate in recommending St. James Design. I hired them to convert my bathroom into a wetroom and have subsequently hired them to refit my kitchen too (commencing next week). Their client servicing was exceptional - from simple things like returning calls and answering e-mail queries quickly, to their innovative start-to-finsh process. Amongst all the horror stories I have heard from friends and colleagues about their experiences with bathroom/kithcen refurbs, money really cannot buy the kind of service these guys deliver! Firstly, they discussed my requirements over the phone (very helpful if you are at work) and gave a link to a shared site where they built out a plan, shared ideas and provided a quote that showed a breakdown of all of the labour and parts costs line-for-line, rather than a "finger in the air" quote that you have no idea if its realistic or not. They also give you an on-line schedule of works so you can see each day what will be done and when, and this is updated live when each section is completed...so you know what to expect when you get home! I was assigned a project manager (Alex) who was on site at the start and end of each day to ensure that the daily works have been completed, and was on hand for any queries I had. A few things changed as the project progressed and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them, and the works were completed bang on schedule. I was also seriously impressed with how clean and tidy things were at the end of each day - I live in a 1-bed flat so had to have the parts neatly piled in the corner of my living room, but this was absolutely fine. They have a brilliant and passionate team who were really helpful on the design front as I am completely clueless about things like layout, colours, tiles, types of taps, etc. and they have access to a huge range of goods to suit your budget. Pricewise, I did pay a little bit more than the local one-man-band quoted (but he didn't return my calls for weeks) and around the same as my quote from Bathstore and B&Q, but I genuinely don't believe you would get the same bespoke service and attention to detail from a big chain company. And the final result? I am absolutely delighted with it. It was exactly what I wanted and the standard of work is fantastic.

Scape Design's "Above and Beyond" roof top bar constructed by St James Design Interiors at Sleep was constructed within London’s premier Hotel Design Conference in 48 hours. The Space provided a unique and immersive visitor experience within the conference that offered flexibility and ultimately, buildability. The design explored scale and enclosure using bespoke structures, partitions and planting to an exterior grade of finish. With the London skyline as a backdrop, the bar provided an elegant and intimate space capturing the unique experience of outdoors, connecting the visitor with their surroundings, indoors. The bar became a constant draw for delegates throughout the event, holding relaxed and casual meetings during the day and in the evening, the Sleep Awards after-party. The build included a large timber pavilion providing intimacy, a furnished bar space, elegant outdoor lighting for evening events and Greenwall's provide structure to space St James Design Interiors offered intelligent and creative build solutions under extreme time constraints to ensure that the space was in operation for the conference

James project managed an installation for us at our design trade exhibition. the installation was one of the show highlights and St James were working with one of the leading UK landscape designers, alongside Europe's leading exterior furniture manufacturer. With a tight build time of just 2 days and some material-related surprises along the way, James and his team kept their cool and completed the feature in time for the show opening. it was one of the most talked-about parts of the event, amongst an audience of architects, designers and industry peers. we are now working with James on our show bar this year!

Hired to complete work on my kitchen (following a previous company had left it incomplete). This involved installing a new worktop, plumbing and tiling. The work was carried out to a high standard, and stuck to agreed cost. James is a nice guy who was very easy to communicate with by phone/email/text for the duration of the work. He was always accessible and reliable, and kept checking in to see that progress was as expected and to our satisfaction. I will be using the company for future work, and would definitely recommend to others.

I first hired St James Design to carry out a vast array of works in the installation of a new kitchen at my home. This included gutting the kitchen, re-flooring, moving pipes and electrical fittings all over the place, re-plastering, painting, and assisting in the fitting and installation of the new kitchen and its appliances. Beyond these initial works, during which I was impressed by the work carried out by the team, I hired them for subsequent works at my home, such as changing the electrical fuse-box/board of the flat, fixing an on-going electrical failure problem, as well as plumbing and tiling works at our bathrooms. I am 100% satisfied with the vast spectrum of works carried out by the team at St James Design; they are professional, knowledgeable and committed to providing the highest quality of service possible. Best of all, they keep you fully informed and updated on all aspects of the works throughout the process, and most importantly, I trust them, to the extent where the team has a spare key to my property at all times. The service provided by St James may not be the cheapest in the market in absolute terms, but the quality of their work is more than justified. James did and efficient and professional job of tiling a kitchen splashback yesterday. He was reliable organised and pleasant and left the flat v clean and tidy. I was pleased to have emails and telephone conversations confirming details agreed and also to hear that he can organise boiler services, electrical and plumbing work etc.

St James Design Interiors Ltd has done an excellent job in fully refurbishing our bathroom. Not only they used good quality materials, the bathroom looks stylish and it's very functional. I'm giving 4/5 stars because there have been some minor timeline related issues and some other hiccups; these have all been dealt with very professionally and efficiently. St James Design Interiors Ltd have always been very good at keeping us posted with the status of works by sending daily summary emails and involving us in any major/medium decision/unexpected concern related to the fact our flat is part of an old historical building. We would definitely use St James Design Interiors Ltd for future projects.

St. James Design Interiors undertook to refresh and update my two bedroom two bath central London flat after more than twenty years without any redecoration. Although no structural alterations were involved, this was quite a large project. James and his team were easy to deal with and hardworking, although the work ran considerably over the original completion date. HOWEVER, problems surfaced at the end of the job, when my new kitchen cabinet doors did not meet requirements, warping badly immediately upon installation. There was one attempt to correct this issue which was unsuccessful, due to James giving incorrect specs to the manufacturer. Thereafter, St. James Design broke off all contact with me, so the kitchen remains in unsatisfactory condition. I had also asked for a list of materials used on the job for future reference -- this was never provided, despite repeated requests. My overall experience was a positive one, but beware of hiring this company for work beyond their current scope of expertise.

St. James Design provided our company with very professional advice and direction on our project. James clearly demonstrated that he understood the project well and was is able to work well with others. He was open to using our own staff and workmen already on site to get our project completed quickly, within budget and to the required standard. His stick to the task and honest feedback made a major difference to the completion of our project.

St James design was recommended to me by a colleague in work when I was working in London I hired James to carry out a bathroom installation at my house in Berlin. On his first visit we went through designs of the type of bathroom I could have Within the area given. I wanted a bathroom that offered a calm and appealing approach whilst being minimalistic. I wanted to implement a clean storage systems that was hidden within the wall. James managed to supply me a beautiful shower with soft porcelain Tiles a nice glass shower screen and a beautiful bathroom suite. Everything is hidden away and it looks very clean and spacious. I will be definitely recommending him to my friends and family
