About Us

With over 10 years experience in various design sectors, the time was right to start my own business and brand of interior design services. My industry experience ranges from stationery, wallpaper & home textiles; to fashion prints, client collaboration & trend research & management. I love what I do and I have so much energy for learning & creating; being able to hand paint designs to my own briefs & working closely with clients who want help to create that living space they have always dreamed off. Avalana Design is for those looking for something truly special, & for those seeking an interior that inspires them everyday… The mission - to create truly stunning interior designs for the home, that each tell a unique story; incorporating prints & patterns that reflect inspiration from individual travels, interests & our natural world. Each of my projects are lovingly created through imaginative vigour. I provide each client with a free consultation and mood board for each area of the project. Interiors should be beautiful, functional and individual. I pride myself in managing projects to suit a wide range of budgets. I cover a range of services and also have the ability to create completely bespoke Wall Murals, Framed Art and printed fabrics for upholstery. Please get in touch for any initial enquiries. Hazel is a true professional, her talent and eye for detail is amazing. Hazels fabrics are luxurious and printed to the highest standard. I love working with her fabrics and creating lampshades in her designs. Hazel is such a friendly and passionate designer and im enjoying working on our collaboration together. I couldn't recommend working with Avalana enough. Im excited for the future of Avalana Design.

I couldn’t recommend Avalana Design enough. After seeing A.D at London Top Drawer this year I wanted her to redesign my bedroom space. Communication from start to finish was excellent. Before the project started A.D clearly shared her creative vision and I instantly knew I had made the right decision! Not only amazing designs but on high quality upholstery fabric has been used. Will be using Avalana Design in the future.

Hazel had the ability and passion to create a beautiful living space. She took my sketchy brief and used her creativity to produce something so special and unique. I was consulted at evey stage of the design and work was completed exactly when she said it would. On top of all that, Hazel is a pleasure to be around and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone who is looking for the Wow factor.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Avalana design has given life to my new flat. Hazel helped transform my plain empty living space into something truly stunning that is now my own little haven to come home to. Hazel was fantastic to work with. She kept me involved at every step, sending me digital room layouts to help me visualise how all the different elements would work together. My absolute favourite piece has to be the Sunset Jaguar Wall Mural from Avalana Design. I rent so this was the perfect way to get that wow factor feature wall without using wallpaper. Cannot wait to add more pieces from the Avalana collection to my flat. Amazing.

I asked Avalana Design for a bespoke commission for my best friends birthday. From start to finish Hazel kept in contact re the artwork and sent updates on the progress. Once I had received it, her pictures that she sent me did not do it justice! Honestly amazing talent that Hazel has and was more than pleased with the end piece as it fit the criteria that I had asked for and more! An absolute pleasure to work with and her artwork is just stunning! Will definitely be ordering from Avalana Design again in the future. This girl is going to go far!!!

Hazel is amazing. I don’t know how I would’ve coped without her expertise and skills when moving into my new house. I moved into a beige nightmare and was totally overwhelmed and had no idea where to even begin. Thankfully a friend at work told me about Avalana Designs. After looking at her amazing work I got in touch and spoke to this bubbly super excited positive Scottish gal. She was so understanding of what I wanted and suggested so many things I would never have even thought of. My bland beige blur is no longer a nightmare house, but a stunning, fabulous home that I can’t wait to get back to at the end of the day. I constantly have friends over as I love all their envious faces when they come into my home. None of that would be possible without Hazel. Thankyou so much xx

I am absolutely IN LOVE with the gorgeous wallpaper I bought from Avalana design - the quality of the wallpaper is excellent and the design is so stunning. Avalana Design listened to what I wanted out of the product and always got back to me super quickly and I had such brilliant customer service. The designs are so gorgeous and I can’t wait to buy more!

I recently purchased the Yukata Blossom wallpaper from Avalana Design for my bedroom. I’ve never put wallpaper up before so was a bit apprehensive but it was so easy and it looks fantastic! The best thing about it is I can take it with me if/when I move house. I follow Avalana on Instagram and any questions or queries I had about the wallpaper was answered quickly and efficiently. Could not recommend more!

Purchased the Blossom Wallpaper and have to say it is absolutely fantastic quality and the easiest paper I have ever worked with ! Seriously went on like a dream especially being paste the wall and the design is stunning! I can’t tell you how pleased I am with this. I couldn’t even tear the paper to keep a piece for colour matching it is such beautiful quality! The colour and detail is exquisite. I loved it! I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from Avalana Design again! Beautiful Quality and service.
