From the very start, she really took the time to understand our lifestyle and what we needed from each space, which made such a difference. She designed our kitchen, living room and primary bedroom, and each one feels beautiful. She took our initial mood boards and ideas and transformed them into something amazing. The level of detail IIiada goes into is incredible and the technical drawings helped us truly visualise the space, the scale, and how everything would come together. “We asked Rumi to design and project manage an extension and kitchen refit. She was extremely helpful and we absolutely love our new space. The best things about Rumi's work were her patience, calm approach and her contacts of excellents tradespeople whose work was of great quality and who worked really well as a team. Having a project manager was very reassuring and her experience of what is 'normal' in such projects made everything seem more manageable (e.g. buildings regulations, sourcing suppliers, understanding timescales). In design terms, she does a great job of listening to your own tastes and also making her own suggestions, and she has particular flair for lighting design which we wouldn't have thought of but makes a huge difference. We worried that our budget wasn't big enough to hire an interior designer, but she worked within our contraints and her input was definitely worth it. I thoroughly recommend her.”
