“I approached Leigh initially for advice and inspiration for a dull and gloomy hallway. She quickly made suggestions for some beautiful console tables, statement mirror and amazing copper lighting. The copper lighting really lifted the whole area and showed off my attic flooring to its best. I was so impressed I asked her to redesign an ensuite bathroom for the guest bedroom. It is now modern, practical and stylish. Some really interesting and different thing that I would never have thought of by myself. The work was completed quickly and to a high standard with no mess or convenience to us. Top class job and looking forward to commissioning another new bathroom soon.”

“Sara Slade has worked on different facets of the interior of our house on several occasions in recent years, and every time she has made things better; more stylish, more elegant, and a better fit with the overall shape and design of the house. Sara has advised on carpets, floorings and soft furnishings, on sofas, chairs and other pieces of domestic furniture, and on a full-scale domestic office fit-out. We have always found Sara helpful, friendly and highly professional, and her recommendations of appropriate related suppliers have likewise been very reliable. In short, she is a pleasure to deal with.”

We have various storage conundrums and with seemingly infinite ways of solving them (none of which seemed quite ideal) it was incredibly useful to have Alison's experienced, practical and creative ideas to narrow things down. I now feel much braver and look forward to taking the plunge!”

“I recently moved to a brand new apartment from a traditional Victorian terraced house after 30 years and so I wanted something totally new and different to what I had lived with previously. My taste is not very modern at all and so I was wanting someone who could help me create a really stylish space that would still suit my tastes (quite eclectic I must add!) In addition it is a really small and compact flat and so I needed some clever thinking on how and what to use, where. I decided to try My Bespoke Room as there service felt very affordable (only £75 per room) and they agreed to come and do an on site visit for a very small additional charge. Using them meant that I could still be in control of what was ordered and my budget, as they just gave me all the tools which saved me loads of time. I was so excited to see it transform that I kept updating them and I really felt they were as excited as I was and really into the project too which was really nice! I got on really well with both of them straight away and was really impressed with what they came up with. It is such a slick an easy service and their virtual moodboard is really cool. It covered everything from paint colours, wallpaper to furniture and finishing touches, including coat hooks and an umbrella stand! This was money well spent and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for some help in designing and furnishing their homes. Well done girls!!!”

“Sarah is just what I needed to spice up our home: she is creative yet practical (am not a fan of ostentatious stuff that doesn’t work with young kids..) and she suggests little changes that have made an enormous difference. One of the best things about her is that she can work within any budget, which I really appreciate. Oh, and she’s one of the happiest people I know!”

“Nine Lives and Philippa were wonderful at making my house feel more like a home. We did not live in all of our rooms downstairs as we were not sure how to use them. Philippa came and quickly worked out the best use of space to allow flow in our home. She is great at picking out colours and textures and finds material and wallpaper that I would never have been able to contemplate. Everyone that comes into our home always asks questions about the wallpapers and the fabrics we used. I am really thankful to Philippa for her hard work and attention to detail. We will go back for more advice in the future.”

“Project :- Construct a garden retaining Dry Stone Wall. I worked with Katie over a 2 month period from an initial enquiry to the satisfactory completion of the project. The brief did change, including the introduction of a curve feature known as a 'Lazy S' Throughout the build period, Katie was very supportive and in regular contact with me and the client to ensure the remit was provided as required, on time and within budget. I was impressed with her determination, background knowledge, professional approach, communication skills and her eye on workmanship. During my time on site, i worked along side her team who i found to be exemplary workers, quiet in the execution of their tasks and kept the site tidy. I would have no reservations of recommending Katie to others and sincerely wish her well on future projects.”
