“We have had the opportunity of working with Desa Design Studio and Dana and JJ for the past few months and we cannot say enough wonderful things about these ladies. We are in the process of building a new home and choosing to work with Dana and JJ has been one of the best decisions we have made. They are professional, incredibly knowledgeable, dedicated, and have been an absolute pleasure to work with. Decorating a home from the ground up can be a bit of an overwhelming process and Dana and JJ have been extremely helpful. They took the time to get to know us and our style, which was really important to us. Once they had a pulse on who we were and how we wanted to design the interior our home, they went to work narrowing down selections so things seemed less overwhelming. They have a computer application with 3D renderings that allowed us to visually see how things would look from the beginning. This was extremely helpful because it took the guess work out of the design layout. Throughout the entire process, Dana and JJ have been remarkable to work with. They are so patient with us and our decision making process, and have gone above and beyond searching for just the right pieces that will make our house a home. And when we have needed a drawing, selection, or measurement within a moment’s notice, they have worked very hard to make sure that we had what we needed - even when I know it was not convenient for them. They have been here for us from the beginning and I am so grateful for their expertise, knowledge, and guidance. From our consultation, to furniture selections, to design, to site visits - Dana and JJ have made creating and designing the interior of our home their priority. They take such pride in all they do and they are amazing women who are experts at their craft. I would highly recommend Desa Design Studio to anyone building a new home, remodeling a wing, or just looking to get some inspiration to update a room. “We hired Michelle to help us redesign our master bath and are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. We wanted to create a spa like setting complete with a larger shower, luxury whirlpool and other creature comforts that women enjoy. Michelle came up with a stunning design that involved some changes of moving a wall, adding pocket doors and relocating some of the plumbing. Her plan included all the materials to be considered for the project and paint colors. We love the whirlpool that is large enough for two and has these fancy lights that change colors as the pool is on. Her design incorporated the existing master bedroom and she helped us with some ideas there also. Michelle is very creative, full of energy and an absolute joy to work with. There are many great designers in Chicago and she is definitely in that elite group of designers.”

“I have worked with Laura since we bought our house 8 years ago. She has done an amazing job at helping us decorate to our tastes -- but at least 10x better than we could have done on our own. She's helped us understand the space, what furniture will fit in it, the colors that will work best, etc. I think she's actually saved us money because every choice is well thought out -- we do not have to later discard items that do not fit or that do not coordinate well. Laura is very efficient and professional. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“We recently did a full-blown renovation of a two-story unit in a River North high rise. Leah really takes the time to understand your aesthetic and then seamlessly guides you through the process. We were completely overwhelmed with choosing bathroom finishes, kitchen finishes, flooring, lighting, wall colors, let alone furnishing our unit and Leah was there every step of the way. She is transparent, responsive, and extremely organized and makes what could be a stressful situation fun and easy. She worked very closely with our contractor and coordinated all logistics (delivery, vendors etc.) with our building. My favorite part of the process was seeing our vision come to life. We were out of town for a few weeks and Leah managed and orchestrated the entire delivery and set up of all furniture and styling of our home. After a long trip we came home to a furnished and perfectly styled home. It was such a treat! Leah truly is one of a kind and we can't recommend her enough.”
