“We moved into our new build in 2013 with the typical white walls in every room. Four years later we decided to move things on. Understandably we were both a little nervous about the change, so our choice of interior designer was very important to us. We have always sought recommendations and fortunately Middlethorpe Interiors were suggested. After meeting Ann the nervousness was replaced by excitement of what she was creating for us. Don't get me wrong there were times along the way when we felt our "design comfort zone" was being challenged, but we are so glad we trusted in her creativity. It speaks volumes that we have over the last few weeks spent time just sat in the various rooms admiring the finished effect, which is also testament to the high quality of the tradesmen she works with. We would thoroughly recommend”

“Hannah and Matthew were very professional, they listened to what we were looking for and the colours that we wanted to incorporate into our room. After a colour consultation in our home, where we looked at complementary colours to tie in with the fabric we had chosen for our blinds, cushions and lampshades, Hannah suggested wall colours that were restful and in keeping for a bedroom, whilst working with the south facing aspect. The blinds, cushions and lampshades were all hand made to order with a very surprisingly quick turn around and are of extremely high quality. I would certainly recommend Revival by Design for your project if you are looking for a personal, bespoke service driven experience. DBT York”

“I was captivated when I first met Anna - her friendliness, enthusiasm, design skills and commitment shone through. I had no idea how to redesign our room but Anna immediately had loads! In no time at all she presented us with a beautiful and comprehensive mood board full of wonderful ideas - something I could not have attempted. She project-managed the whole process providing decorators, electricians and capable furniture-builders and, because of her, it all went swimmingly. On her last day with us she "dressed" the room with lovely accessories and made it look like something you would see in Ideal Home. Our daughter and the grandchildren can't wait to see it. Thank you, so much, Anna.”

“Averil has worked on several areas of our home over the past few years and has created schemes that are up to date but in keeping with the property’s listed character. Averil is easy to work with and understands how we live and how we use our home which we feel has contributed to the success of her work. “We asked Gringley Bespoke to update our lounge and Bryony totally transformed it! We love it! Bryony listened to all our likes and dislikes and managed to visualise our perfect design. Both my husband and I are very happy despite having different tastes. Bryony was always approachable, friendly and professional. We have now asked her to update our playroom and other pieces of furniture around our house. I can’t now imagine taking on any house project without her help.”

“I used Claire for a small lounge project to help me sound out and bring my ideas together. She was a fantastic listener (very important in a designer) and full of energy and intuition. We worked out a colour scheme, and a look and feel for the room that I cannot wait to put into action. It's lovely to use someone local who offers an appropriate and accessible range of options for working with her and I will definitely recommend to friends as well as use her again when the next rooms need doing!”

“We first enlisted Hannah's services back in April 2021 for an e-consultation to assist us with the design of a new home office and well it just went from there. Hannah is so professional and her service and attention to detail is second to none. We were so pleased with her services and the way she almost instantly managed to know just what we wanted in terms of the style and design that it was an easy decision to put our trust in her when we booked her in for a whole house project. I wanted all the rooms to flow and she has managed just that. We've not quite got there as yet putting all of the designs to fruition but we are working on them room by room and can already see how it will look when it all comes together and is finished. Hannah seems to have this calm aura about her and is so easy to talk to and we will not hesitate to contact her for help again on future projects. It's a shame we didn't find her sooner, would have saved time and lots of money and couldn't do without her help again.”
