“I cannot recommend this lady highly enough. She took our little rundown cottage and turned it into a cosy, modern home for us. Not only were the original designs and ideas great but what I liked most about Jane is that she was open to our, sometimes a bit whacky, ideas and suggestions. Unlike some interior designers, she was open to listen to what our preferences were and bits of furniture that we really wanted to keep. Using Jane is not about having a completely new scheme but making the best of what you already have, with an injection of ideas from a fresh pair of eyes. If you're looking for a local designer Jane will utterly and totally fit the bill, I will be using her again one day! :)”

“Romilly absolutely transformed the ground floor of our house, which was in much need of love and attention. She very cleverly took inspiration from pieces we already had, and used these as a springboard to redesign our living room, den and hallway. Having captured our taste perfectly, she sourced so many gorgeous things, including brilliant ebay finds which she had re-upholstered, Vinterior treasures, and one off lamps and tables that we absolutely adore. She was very clear with her prices, worked to our budget, and for us provided project management of the renovation itself (this was an extra fee but well worth it). Finally, she was a delight to have around, and we missed her so much when the job ended. Would absolutely recommend her - we continue to enjoy her brilliant work every single day (nearly three years on!).”

“When we approached Rebecca about our kitchen project, we’d identified some key features we wanted to see in a new kitchen, dining, living space. We’d seen some concepts and design ideas that we really liked but had no idea how to bring them together into a coherent brief, let alone a finished design that we’d love living with! Rebecca let us talk, while she listened. She introduced design ideas to us to help her understand what we like and didn’t like. She took the concepts that we’d found, married them with what she learned from our discovery meetings and some of the ques she got from our personal possessions. The design that she came up with showed that she’d listened to us, understood us, but also helped us develop our own ideas. Very little changed from the initial rendering she presented to the final design that was executed. A major kitchen renovation feels like giving your house a heart transplant and is almost as stressful. It’s unavoidable mess and disruption for weeks. Rebecca and her team though always did their best to minimise this, while they got on with the job of executing our design. Nothing was too much trouble and they always managed to deliver the small incremental changes we came up with as the project came together. What we got at the end of all of this was a highly original, very ‘us’ design that looked almost exactly like the original renderings Rebecca presented. Our kitchen is unique to us. It doesn’t look like anything you’ll find in a kitchen catalogue or something that even a bespoke kitchen designer is likely to come up with. It reflects our character, what we like to do, how we entertain and how we want to live in the heart of our home. We love it.”
