“We hired Hellen Hsieh, the owner of Design Loft Company, to design our 725 sq ft great room addition. We are so incredibly thrilled with the completed project, it is exactly what we had envisioned. Our existing house was a 1200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. The kitchen and living area was very modest. With two teenagers at home, we needed to expand and wanted more room to entertain. When we started the project we were uncertain if we should knock down walls and remodel the current floor plan and add a small addition or keep the footprint of the existing house exactly the same and add on one large great room. We decided to do the later, however, to get to this point, we went through several different renderings. Hellen provided us with many great options and helped us decide what would be the most economical and feasible plan. She was flexible, patient and was great about pointing out the pros and cons of each option. Her interactions with our architect , contractor and cabinet supplier went very smoothly which helped us to meet specific deadlines. Hellen was maticulous when it came to the kitchen cabinets and made sure everything was ordered properly and our custom stain came out exactly how we wanted. As a designer, she is very creative and knowledgeable. She understood the style and feel we were after. More importantly she was very conscious and respectful of our monetary constraints which helped us complete our entire project within budget. What impressed us most was her understanding of the build process: from the contractors needs, the city requirements, realistic costs and time estimates, appliance installation prerequisites and inspection requirements. We couldn't be more pleased with Design Loft and Hellen's professionalism.”

“AND Interior Design Studio did a spectacular job, far expecting my expectations, and did it in a very reasonable cost manner. The end result is a place that I love living in and the unit, quite frankly, makes me not want to leave. Anne's strength is that she can understand what you want and work with you to get it done. My modern bachelor-pad concept is not something that is reflected in Anne's portfolio, but she was able to understand what my vision was and execute it with her wealth of knowledge as a designer. I highly recommend Anne if you are thinking of re-doing your place - since you are going to spend a lot of time living there, it is important to choose an excellent designer to do it right.”

“Jennifer of The Home Co is wonderful. She was colorist on the exterior of my home. Not only did she listen to me, and help me pick colors I love, she returned to see how the color looked when swatches were painted and during the painting to make sure they were right and the accent colors would work. When I became concerned whether the color I wanted was too close that of the neighbors, or would effect resale, she did "a color intervention," advising me on what she saw as my options. I highly recommend her company. She is talented, kind and follows through!”

“Very generous designer who made my tiny rental feel spacious and bright! So grateful for Jenn’s excellent list of recommendations she offered me within 24 hours after seeing my home. She helped me realize that my space doesn’t have to be or feel small by changing a few simple things such as, painting the interior, raising all the curtain rods to make my ceiling feel higher, layer cowhides on the cold tiled floor, moved my paintings around that made more sense to view, helped me find beautiful decorative pillows, dining table and chairs, and the most comfy modern chair and ottoman we all fight over to sit in and most importantly she suggested many choices to choose from to change out all the old dated light fixtures. I learned that investing in great curtains, sconces to lamp shades would be worth the investment since I can take them with me if and when I ever move. My home now feels spacious, fun and festive to visit and a whole lot bigger and brighter because I used every single one of Jenn’s innovative ideas. Loved her smart suggestions and felt she respected my small budget and made it work besides making my cozy place a place all my friends and family love to visit. “Working with Michelle at Thomas Designs has been a wonderful experience. She has helped me with numerous projects and my guest bath remodel completed last year turned out great. From start to finish she drafted, designed, managed and completed my remodel in the agreed time frame which was very important to me because I had out of town guests coming to visit. Her sense of space and color was perfect and her attention to detail was much appreciated. Having never worked with a Interior Designer before I really didn't know what to expect but she listed to all of my likes dislikes and concerns making me feel comfortable with the process. I am working with her again to refresh and update my Family and Dining room decor and then it's on to remodeling the Kitchen. Needless to say I would highly recommend Michelle and Thomas Designs for all design, remodel and decorating needs.”
