“Sarah & Emma have been great helping me with what seemed a daunting process building on an extension on our Edwardian house and completely redecorating throughout. Their immense knowledge has given me so many more options that I wouldn’t have thought of and have saved me money. I have already recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.”

“Elena is very experienced: she helped us visualising what we wanted and gave us plenty of expert advice. We commissioned her the design of a fitted bookcase for an entire wall in our living room: it worked so well that we commsiomed her the design of our bathroom which turned out amazing. Elena helped with the design from a mood board and technical drawings to sourcing suppliers, materials, fiitings, etc as well as liasing with plummers, electricians, decorators, etc... and on site supervision of the work. We found working with Elena a great pleasure and we cannot recommend her highly enough.”

“I have known Lana for some time and have seen many examples of the magic she has worked for other clients. A couple of years ago I bought a large, Victorian house which had many original features intact, but was in need of a complete makeover from top to bottom. Other than wanting to keep the original fireplaces, deep skirting boards, lincrusta wallcovering and decorative covings, I didn't really have a particular 'look' in mind. Lana explained that the refurbishment would have to be completed in phases, with the first stage focusing on building work. The combination of her meticulous planning and extensive network of contacts meant that the replumbing, rewiring, complete window replacement and building of a new staircase were all completed on time, to budget and with the minimum of fuss. There was, of course, a lot of disruption during this part of the process but the end results were worth it. Lana's input into the design of the new, large double glazed sash windows has turned them into beautiful features, rather than functional objects. Her design of the new staircase to fit into a tight space demonstrates her technical expertise aswell as creativity. Phase 2 of the project involved the replacement of bathrooms and the kitchen. Lana designed the layouts for each, starting with a blank piece of paper. A number of options were explained to me, from the fairly straightforward replacement like-for-like of fittings, through to the complete rebuild including removal of walls. Having selected the preferred layout (I went for the complete rebuild), Lana then set to work sourcing unusual and stunning tiles, worktops, fittings and lighting. The results are amazing - totally functional rooms but beautiful at the same time. The final phase (for now, at least) of the transformation was the one which people normally associate with interior designers - furniture, fabrics, floor coverings, lighting and accessories. I confess to being hopeless at putting together combinations of colours, designs and textures but Lana is an absolute star. The array of products she is able to source from around the world is incredible and for each room I was presented with alternative schemes. I have contemporary furniture from Italy covered in fabric from France, sliding panels created from Japanese silk, light fittings from Portugal and bespoke furniture, hand crafted locally to Lana's original design. The overall look of the house is phenomenal. The original Victorian features have been brought back to life by careful choices of colour and are complemented throughout by the careful choice of modern materials. As if this isn't enough, Lana produces fabulous original artwork on canvas, glass, metal and wood. The perfect finishing touch to any room.”

“We’ve been wanting to make some big changes for a while but just didn’t know how to or what direction to go in. Luckily we engaged with Chloe who walked us through the process and made it considerably easier and stress free. We were struggling with what direction to go in but Chloe guided us in the right direction and helped us to develop our ideas into an actual design. Our homes not only a lot better aesthetically as planned but she it’s also better practically which is a great value add. I’d definitely recommend Chloe to anyone who wants to make this journey as easy as possible as well as putting their ideas into a design”

“I received a consultation from Stan at Affordable Designs for the kitchen Iam looking to remodel for a perspective home purchase. After speaking with recommended designers and receiving 5 estimates, I am most pleased with Stan's work. He listened to my needs and what I know would work best for me which means he puts the client first and their ideas into motion. Being a busy NYC professional and living in NJ, I needed someone that could imagine a design for a kitchen that could work with the likes of a NYC sleek, modern look to a suburban kitchen design that was fit for a chef. Iam quite pleased and his price fits my budget like a glove! My search has ended and I highly recommend this great designers work.Iam confident the completed project will be one I will show off to all my guest!!”

“Penelope organised my custom-made blinds, cushions and lampshades and it couldn't have gone better. She found exactly the right fabrics for a difficult design brief when I had completely failed, measured and planned very accurately, hired a good installer to fit, stayed on top of every small detail throughout and did a final check. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I have already recommended her to friends and I'm delighted to do so to a wider audience.”

“We had our daughter's bedroom curtains made and fitted by Orchard Interiors and were incredibly impressed with the service we received and the fantastic quality of the curtains which, almost a year later, still look like new. We had a huge range of fabrics to choose from and nothing was too much trouble - from measuring up for us, getting them made quickly and fitting them, ensuring a perfect fit. We have since had another curtain made, with the same excellent quality and service and will definitely be using Orchard Interiors for our lounge curtains, once our puppy is old enough not to chew them! The shop is a delight too and well worth a visit.”

“We live in an up and coming area of Manchester and made the decision that we would rather max out the use of the space of our well proportioned mid-terrace property, than the cost of upsizing in the area we would want to live in. So we employed Bespoke living to help realise the potential of our house something that we have no regrets in doing! For Dave came out and gave us some really progressive and imaginative layouts for the whole property. Not just offering one option but a variety dependent upon budget/planning etc. This was great for us to become more decisive on what we actually wanted and our now progressing with a loft conversion accommodating a guest bedroom with ensuite and a redistribution of the ground floor that creates a more flowing open plan feel whilst bringing a bigger kitchen with dinning island to the centre of the house. We would highly recommend Dave as his knowledge, enthusiasm and vision helped us realise what we actually needed.”
