    “We moved into our new build in 2013 with the typical white walls in every room. Four years later we decided to move things on. Understandably we were both a little nervous about the change, so our choice of interior designer was very important to us. We have always sought recommendations and fortunately Middlethorpe Interiors were suggested. After meeting Ann the nervousness was replaced by excitement of what she was creating for us. Don't get me wrong there were times along the way when we felt our "design comfort zone" was being challenged, but we are so glad we trusted in her creativity. It speaks volumes that we have over the last few weeks spent time just sat in the various rooms admiring the finished effect, which is also testament to the high quality of the tradesmen she works with.     “Hannah and Matthew were very professional, they listened to what we were looking for and the colours that we wanted to incorporate into our room. After a colour consultation in our home, where we looked at complementary colours to tie in with the fabric we had chosen for our blinds, cushions and lampshades, Hannah suggested wall colours that were restful and in keeping for a bedroom, whilst working with the south facing aspect. The blinds, cushions and lampshades were all hand made to order with a very surprisingly quick turn around and are of extremely high quality. I would certainly recommend Revival by Design for your project if you are looking for a personal, bespoke service driven experience. DBT York”

    “I got in contact with Christie to help me with decorating my living room and bathroom. Christie was really helpful, approachable, and professional and through a video consultation we were able to discuss my ideas. The virtual design package she pulled together for me was perfect and had captured our discussions really well - she really understood what I was looking for and the itemised shopping list was also really helpful. It's still a work in progress but already looks so much better even with just some small changes following Chrisite's tips and advice. She's got a great eye for design and I will definitely be contacting her again next time I'm decorating!”

    “Sometimes you just don't know where to start, you know you want to change things up but just never get the time or in my case was seriously lacking some inspiration. Luckily for me the answer to my prayers came in the form of a brilliant business called Making Spaces. I contacted Karen, a lady who wastes no time. A 30 minute chat resulted in a Pinterest board the next day and tester colours on my walls. I didn't have to do a thing. I handed over a set of house keys as my confidence and trust in this lady was well rooted. Before I knew it the walls were painted, rug was being delivered, old furniture was sold on my behalf and new furniture sourced. Curtain poles were hung, artwork was frames and displayed beautifully. I now have a living room that makes me feel cosy and content to spend time in. It's a wonderful, beautiful space that is more me than I could ever have created on my own. This company is completely on the ball. You'd be doing yourself a disservice not to use them.”

    “Sturman & Co have just completed the re-styling of our lounge and dining room and we are delighted with the results! They have completely transformed the rooms, which now look so much more inviting, make much better use of the space and just make us happier to be in them. I knew the look and feel that I wanted for the rooms but didn't really know how to achieve it. Bess was brilliant at transforming my Pinterest boards of various rooms I liked into a scheme that would work in our home. She was really easy to work with and was great at presenting different options until we were happy with the design and furnishings (she has a great suppliers list and knowledge of different products available). Sturman & Co provided great design ideas and just the right amount of guidance so we felt we definitely made the decisions on the project but just with expert design advice and a nudge in the right direction when appropriate! The project management service Bess and her team provided was invaluable as they co-ordinated all the suppliers and, best of all, dealt with any problems that arose along the way so we had no headaches at all. They use first-rate suppliers, communicated well with these and with us so we were updated about any snags that they were sorting and ensured that everything was completed on schedule. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sturman & Co’s services - they are very approachable, lovely to work with - very creative designers but also pragmatic and professional so the project was completed on time and on budget.”
