About Us

Cara have specialized in the design, supply and installation of the highest quality kitchens and bathrooms since the company was founded by Robert Carroll in 1982. Embracing his Irish roots, Robert named the company Cara, meaning ‘friend’ in Gaelic Irish to represent the warm friendly and approachable service which he and his team provide. Robert’s reputation is built on innovative design and a clear understanding and interpretation of their clients requirements. Robert says that ‘form and function are crucial to good design and enhance the pleasure a home should offer around you. We strive to provide exemplary service only recommending quality products at affordable prices and like to think of ourselves as a one-stop-shop’.

Callerton kitchen fitted with Smeg appliances at our Old Mill house conversion. Excellent customer service and after sales support. Not an easy project, but the team really came up trumps with stunning results. Can’t recommend Cara Design highly enough!

It's just a year since we had a new kitchen designed and installed by Cara Kitchen Design. We're still absolutely delighted with it. With Cara's advice and expertise we were able to incorporate the latest technology into the traditional appearance of our hundred-year-old house. Kara helped us to accommodate all our special requirements whilst maintaining the character of the kitchen. Even the installation process was enjoyable!

Cara Design were a dream company to engage for my new kitchen. They were very professional and supportive from initial design all the way through to completion. As with any project of this type, there were minor problems during the installation that were quickly addressed and resolved. All financial aspects of the contract were transparent and fully explained. They exhibited great patience when there were major delays and did not apply any pressure to move things forward before I was ready. I would definitely recommend this company

Cara Design supplied us with all our kitchen appliances. I could not fault their service from the very beginning to the end. They were extremely helpful about giving advice about the appliances and handled the order in a very professional and friendly manner. They communicated promptly to any queries and were reliable throughout and provided a good delivery service.
