About Us

Catherine works with each of her clients from the very beginning concept to beautiful finished space. Transparency and communication is at the forefront of her interior design studio; a skilled designer, she also prides herself on keeping her clients informed at each step of the project, making the renovation process a simple, efficient and enjoyable one. With inspiration from around the world (Catherine was born and raised on the British Island of Bermuda), her design and product knowledge is excellent and enjoys finding unique and beautiful solutions for each space from a large contemporary family home to a period update on a bachelor pad. Crucially, for Catherine, it is the joy of a finished project enhancing the way someone lives their life that motivates her in creating fantastic home designs. Catherine studied at Wimbledon School of Art and then onto The Nottingham Trent University, where she gained her BA(Hons) degree in Interior Architecture and Design in 2005. Her love of clean design aesthetics and clever use of materials and textures in homes are what makes her work distinctive. Catherine is a meticulous planner and a problem solver. She will look for solutions within your budget so projects can move forward quickly. We have made amendments after completing our renovation and Catherine has been helpful thinking of new ideas. She has also worked out the best route to correct issues with that have arose. Catherine is easy to work with and a great communicator making it easy especially when working with contractors and tradespeople who are difficult to pin down! She works in a real partnership with you and cares about what she does. Which makes for a great experience.

Working with Catherine was a dream. I didn't think the 'contemporary 1960s' vision in my head was financially achievable, but her experience, network and incredible knowledge of contemporary materiality meant that we were able to bring it all to life in a way that far exceeded my original thinking. A very tiny space now feels three times the size, the functionality is amazing, and I it still makes me beam every time I come downstairs in the morning. It was such a pleasure to work with her and I know our builder would say the same thing. Super-efficiency, painless process, on budget, kitchen of my dreams. Need I say anything else!?!

Catherine did a wonderful job designing our open plan living space, so that everything was harmonious without being too matchy-matchy. She simply has wonderful ideas. She also designed the most gorgeous bespoke rug for the space. She is very organised and is an excellent project manager and has great contacts with talented artisanal craftsmen who were able to produce beautiful built in cabinets and curtains for us. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Hiring Catherine to help plan and design my first flat was the best investment I could have made. Catherine was incredible throughout the whole process: from exactly understanding my budget and taste, through to getting the right builders/workmen involved, materials sourced and making furnishing suggestions and options. I am an architect myself and I appointed Catherine to supervise the full renovation works of my home in London while I was living abroad. I trusted her in keeping the contractor in check ensuring that the works were carried in accordance with my design and sorting out all the issues that inevitably arised during the works. I worked with Catherine for first time and wont be the last . She was always available to any quarries of the project ( One bedroom flat converted to two bedrooms flat in King Cross) and she visited the project once or twice a week during the project and her reports and instructions was detailed and helpful to move the project forward. She is very well organised and her design made the project achieve high remarks from the client. I'm looking forward to work with Catherine again.
