Claudia Ludwig Design

This is the third project that Claudia has completed for us. It was the most complicated as involved structural work, plumbing, electrics and design. Claudia listened to exactly what I was after, and the final result was spectacular. It looked exactly as I had wanted it to look like but better as Claudia has an ability to find exactly the products that suited the look. She worked efficiently and pro actively with exceptional builders and made the building work as smooth as possible. I look forward to the next project

I cannot recommend Claudia highly enough. I used her to help me remodel my office in a barristers' chambers in Gray's Inn London - a large room in a Georgian building. She was responsible for providing a suitable design proposal for the room, then overseeing the implementation of that design. This included advising on (1) colour scheme (paint/wallpaper colours and type) (2) soft furnishings (carpets and blinds) and (3) furniture (desk, desk chair, shelving, sideboard, wardrobe, lounge chairs and chairs for an additional smaller desk/table and lighting). After an initial consultation about my needs and preferences in late April 2022, Claudia came up with a stylish and elegant design proposal within a week, which she then modified in the following weeks as the design took shape following further discussion between us in person and via Zoom. Claudia has a creative eye and produced some striking colour/furniture combinations which work superbly in the space. From initial design to completion, the remodelling of my room took about 4 months (although this included the quieter summer months and a couple of items of furniture took longer to deliver). From my perspective, the whole process worked seamlessly - thanks to Claudia's notable efficiency. She was careful to involve me at each stage, which included visiting suppliers together and keeping me regularly updated about delivery timings. At the same time, she took responsibility for liaising with suppliers and arranging and personally supervising installation and delivery of all furniture and soft furnishings. This saved me an enormous amount of time, effort and stress. It also allowed me to focus on my work while the room was being done - which was of huge benefit. Claudia was always highly responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I am delighted with my new room which is a great credit to her.

I be cannot recommend Claudia highly enough. Claudia helped me with so many different aspects of house improvement; sourcing and finding specialists, sourcing beautiful fabric, a beautiful fireplace, lamps. She managed the whole process, and the results were stunning. I wanted to work with Claudia because I felt she was organised, professional and had beautiful taste, and her work over the last few months proved this to be the case. Not only am I grateful for Claudia’s work, I look forward to working with her again.

I was really struggling with how to decorate the ground floor of my house (two reception rooms, hall and kitchen). I was unsure in particular about paint colours, curtains, blinds, a lighting scheme, and some furniture requirements. Claudia was wonderful from the start. She has an incredible eye for colour and exquisite taste but is also highly practical and understood that we had a particular budget. I was a bit nervous about the process initially but Claudia put me at ease straight away and was a delight to work with. She explains options clearly, is pro active and has excellent suppliers and other contacts that she was able to share. Without Claudia’s help I would probably still be staring blankly at colour charts but thanks to Claudia the work is almost complete and I am delighted with it.

Claudia helped me spruce up my living room, which although is contemporary looked incomplete because of its empty walls. Claudia immediately identified ways of giving the living room some character, without it being a complicated process, and thus the project started! It was so much fun working with her. She is very talented and has a great sense of aesthetics, however what stood out for me is that the art work that she sourced for me is something that I can connect with and that is symbolic of my roots. It has been a pleasure working with her. She is extremely professional and communicative and I can’t recommend her enough.

Claudia is a straight talking no nonsense highly efficient interior designer. She also has great ideas and taste and can work with all budgets. We used Claudia to transform our girls bedrooms on a budget and she fulfilled the brief perfectly.

Needed some design advice to get us started with extension and didn’t really know where to start. Claudia was excellent and looked over the pictures and scale from details I sent her and provided suggestions, pictures of ideas, advice what to do and not to do. Was a real help in getting valuable ideas to get started. Just opted for 2hr keep consultation as enough to get started.

Claudia has helped me with the design of my new flat and enabled me to unblock some key decisions during the renovation stage. She provided me with some great suggestions that I have incorporated; in particular around colours and lighting which are very important elements. I very much enjoyed working with her

I have really enjoyed working with Claudia in outfitting our new house! Initially, I was not entirely sure how much commitment I wanted to make to hiring an interior designer. Claudia was supportive, offered a variety of ways that she could be involved, and was flexible in how we approached my project. She did a visit to our new home, and ultimately I decided to work with her on a consultancy basis, paying her hourly for sessions where we cover various elements of the house decor. She has been incredible with helping me put together a decor that is warm, fun, tasteful, and thought about so that fashion meets function. She reliably reminds me of the practicalities of design elements and makes sure that I don't run away with an idea without considering how it will affect our day to day living in the house. At the same time, she has great suggestions for design that has really elevated the home's overall interior. She has great taste, is professional, reliable, knowledgeable, and has been a great asset in getting our home together! I highly recommend!

This lady must receive the highest recommendation she is breathtakingly elegant and knows exactly what is required in the room she has wonderful ideas and is elegance personified nothing is too much trouble and she listens carefully to what the client would like to achieve it’s very rare to find somebody like Claudia She endlessly gives you ideas and helps you find exactly what you’re looking for you will be thrilled if you use her to help you

I reached out to Claudia for help and inspiration in re- organising our rental apartment post lockdown. I emailed her with my problems before our Zoom call and we had a very productive meeting. Claudia listened carefully and came up with excellent suggestions for re-organising our space using existing furniture. She also shared suggestions on lighting and storage in a well organized document post our call. Claudia is friendly, practical, knows how to bring out the best in a space and I would definitely reach out to her again for future projects.

I found Claudia through Houzz. I liked the photos on her website and the fact that she was north London based and familiar with the houses in the area helped. Working with her has been fantastic! She has provided me with a detailed plan for my sitting room; citing wall, shelf and paintwork colours, along with links to the furniture and accessories she has recommended. As well as her lovely proposals, Claudia has also worked within my budget. I have decided to manage the project myself but Claudia has already responded to my questions and I have no doubt she will be supportive as the project develops.
