My partner and I owned properties in the past but never used a design service before and we have to say we are extremely happy to have picked Décorbuddi to help up designing our 2 bedroom flat. David was extremely helpful and hard working all the way through. He helped us picking the colour scheme for the entire flat – we have always been used to simply painting everything white and a bit scared to change. David professionally guided us through various options, still letting our tastes being the main driver of all choices. We are very happy with the result; our flat is now fresh and fun as we wanted and we would have not achieved this without David’s help. He was also extremely valuable in recommending furniture/art and design ideas. Most importantly, he did so listening to our budget, with great ideas but perfectly in line with what we were willing to spend. The pricing for the service was also very competitive. We would definitely recommend David and Decorbuddi.

During the first Lockdown my family decided that we needed to update the snug room (open plan with the kitchen) where we spend most of our family time. The Decorbuddi 'get started' package was the perfect way for me to gain lots of ideas for the room and the confidence that I needed to take ideas forward. From the start, Amanda was very efficient and warm and quickly assimilated how we wanted to change the room. From our meeting and conversations Amanda then produced a detailed plan which contained lots of design/furnishing options and corresponding links to suppliers. A key part of our new snug are the 2 bespoke sofas that fit the space perfectly - Amanda was instrumental in this as she introduced us to a local sofa company that was able to offer this service. We were so pleased with the help that Amanda gave us and the Decorbuddi 'get started' concept is one that we will use for future projects!

Lorna masterminded the design of my shop in Watlington, Oxfordshire. It was my first time ever taking on a project like this and I honestly don't know what I would have done without Lorna. She helped me through the whole process, giving so much more than just an amazing design concept for my shop. She knew all the right questions to ask and managed to create an absolutely beautiful space that matched exactly what I wanted despite the fact that I wasn't able to coherently communicate what I wanted! Lorna is so knowledgeable, patient and practical. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She really went above and beyond expectations, taking the time to ensure all practicalities had been considered whilst still creating something beautiful. Even six months on from project completion I am still getting people coming into the shop most days and saying how amazing the space is. This wouldn't have happened without Lorna.

What a brilliant idea; it makes bespoke interior design accessible to even the most budget conscious. I have a purpose built salon in my home, a completely blank canvas. Laura Felicity was absolutely spot-on with getting the essence of my vision. Patience of a saint with my indecision, and introduced me to ideas that had not even entered my mind’s eye. Thoroughly enjoyed having her on board! Thank you, my little room has become a little haven for my clients. And for me too..!

Sophie is an excellent interior designer. She works very hard to understand the motivations of the homeowner, not just in terms of what a home will look like from an aesthetic point of view but also the emotions that the homeowner wants to experience as part of the re-design. She pushes her clients to be more daring than they might otherwise and has an excellent ability to use colour for dramatic effect. Sophie has a deep understanding of colour and texture but also combines this with practical insight and skills into whether a project will work or not. I really enjoyed working with Sophie.

Lorraine has designed two beautiful bathrooms for us. As with many old houses the bathrooms were an afterthought and therefore small with little opportunity to extend. Lorraine, employing great design, has maximised the space and created a luxurious main bathroom and a functional yet beautiful ensuite shower room. Lorraine introduced us to skilled builders and craftsmen and sourced everything, often securing us a Decorbuddi discount. She has great attention to detail and was there to troubleshoot when inevitable snags hit the project, so making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Like many people, I know what I don’t like, but am rather vague about what I do and, although I have some lovely things, I don’t really know how to put it altogether. Lorraine worked collaboratively with me, so the design feels like my taste and I absolutely love the final result. I really enjoyed working with Lorraine. She has made me braver with colour and I am looking forward to working with her on other rooms that I have never got quite right, starting with our off white and rather boring bedroom in the New Year

My wife and I commissioned Decorbuddi to assist with the early stages of planning the finishes of our kitchen extension in Tooting. Jackie was able to come and visit us post lockdown 1.0 and spent a couple of hours taking copious notes from our brief and helping us to navigate the design process. Shortly after we received our “getting started” pack which was fantastic. We’ll be engaging Decorbuddi further in the coming weeks now our build is well underway. We’ve also recommended them to friends already and would continue to do so.

I am so glad to have come across Decorbuddi. They provide exactly the service I was looking for: helping me get started and providing advice and ideas to decorate my home, without having to pay the full-blown price of an interior designer. Jenny’s support has been invaluable. She took the time to really understand what I was hoping to achieve and what I was worried about, proposed ideas I’d never have thought of, and considered things that wouldn’t have occurred to me. From the visit alone it really gave me confidence in how to progress, to be a bit braver in certain areas and to know where and how to play it safe - and the report is great, very actionable and detailed with lots of tricks to save money whilst giving a luxurious, tied together impression. Super useful and great value for money.

We needed help in re-decorating our kitchen/dining/living area. We booked a getting started appointment with decorbuddi and they were fantastic. Laura came out for a home visit and talked us through many different options and had a look at our space and we discussed our style options and possible layouts for our living area. A few days later Laura sent us a very detailed report containing lots of ideas and very useful images to help us visualise what will hopefully be a perfect space for our family. Laura really was very helpful & full of lots of great ideas. I’m sure I will be contacting her again to help us make our house a home.

I don't generally write reviews but felt compelled to write one for Decorbuddi and Ann as they did such a stellar job on my flat. I renovated my entire flat (after 20 years!). I had no idea 1) how to use the small space well and 2) how to design the interior. Ann was, in a word, amazing. In her words, she "stretched me" (necessarily) but beautifully transformed my flat. She offered suitable options for each room in terms of furnishings and ideas for the design, was budget conscious, would pick out appropriate furniture and take care of the paperwork (and even be at the flat for the delivery if necessary) which was enormously helpful when one has limited time. She worked well with the builder and noticed small things that I never would have caught and sorted it out. I would recommend Decorbuddi and Ann without reservation.

The Decorbuddi team are fantastic. They have helped me to reshape my home with a great new look and feel, much better than I could have done on my own. They also put me in touch with an excellent painter and carpenter. The ease, quality and price all exceeded my expectations.

Where to begin! I cannot recommend decorbuddi highly enough and the Wonderful Amanda who has been an absolute inspiration I can't praise her enough, If you are lucky to have Amanda working with you you will be amazed and privileged as well as being totally down to earth and approachable, friendly and beyond helpful Amanda has an amazing ability to tune in very quickly to what you want and be there for you with brilliant suggestions always with your budget in mind. She has completely opened my eyes and I know with her guidance and advice I am already on the road to achieving something exceeding my expectations on how my home will look when the project is over and I honestly feel without Amanda I would never have got off the ground. Being someone who goes by the 'feel of a room or furniture' and totally hopeless on how to achieve what I wanted my refurb of my entire apartment to look like I think its fair to say I can't be the easiest client. But Amanda got it straight away and her appreciation within one meeting of both my apartment and its lovely features as well as encapsulating perfectly what I wanted after just one meeting turned things completely around using the get started package and as I continue to work with Amanda instead of being daunted I am filled with excitement and joy at the way things are going and am confident will go with her guiding hand to a perfect conclusion. The get started package is superb value for money -I really cant recommend Deccorbuddi or Amanda highly enough, and I'm quite fussy :-) so that says much in itself ! Thank you Decorbuddi for bringing the wonderful Amanda into my life replacing my despair with excitement and all cost effective, couldn't ask for more and I am and continue to be thrilled. I'm still using Amy on a number of different areas in my home and can't rate her highly enough. She offers her opinions without domineering, provides detailed notes of meetings, answers emails promptly and overall gets the job done faster and certainly cheaper than I would be able to doing it alone. She's offered ideas and suggested changes that really make a difference for my home but also project managed commissions leaving me free from any hassle.

I had a "Get Started" package in September 2019 and that is exactly what it did for me. I have not previously used a decorator but I promised myself for our new flat I would get some professional advice. Amy came and spent a couple of hours looking around and listening to my requests and then sent me a very thoughtful and thorough set of recommendations. It was money well spent and got me off to the start I needed.

I wanted a complete change and more contemporary look for my apartment. Unsure about my vision, where to start with it all and find the time to do it, I turned to Decorbuddi who took the time and attention to understand my tastes and needs, helped me to find a style I liked, then working at my pace, guided me on the best use of space, improvements, appropriate furniture, colours and accessories. They were also able to point me in the direction of some excellent suppliers and trades people for lighting, fabrics, floor sanding, carpentry, electrics etc. Their recommendations for sourcing the artwork and plants that completed the scheme were especially valuable. I was looking for an interior designer to help guide me to decorate my newly built house. I couldn’t define my style as it’s quite eclectic, and I didn’t want an interior designer who would only advise using styles and colours they liked. So Decorbuddi put me in touch with the very talented, kind and friendly AnnMarie Taylor. She was like a coach- she listened to my ideas then helped me put them together. Her input on use of space, size of furniture, and encouragement to go for the eclectic, bold and colourful materials and fabrics has been invaluable. Her knowledge and ability to source items from a wide range of suppliers has made it possible to have bespoke sofas made, find interesting furniture pieces, lighting and fabrics. She’s proactive and efficient - out of all the numerous people involved in my monster project, Ann-Marie was the one person I didn't have to chase.

I have used this service twice and found the two professionals excellent. Firstly I had help from Debbie providing thoughts for colours in a holiday home. Her eye for colour was great and her knowledge of designers helped inform my colour scheme for the bedrooms in the house. She helped source and encourage me to finish the project that had been somewhat dragging!

I had had previous advice from Ann Jackman on how to tackle the interior design of my 20 year old conservatory and all that she suggested I had acted upon. When I came to the final styling I used Ann's services through Decorbuddi to get the advice on the styling that was needed to finish the room off. Anne gave some amazing ideas on which again I acted upon and now the room is somewhere I really like to spend time and has transformed the living space downstairs. Nikki from decorbuddi visited me last year to help plan out a detailed paint scheme for our four-bedroom semi-detached house in Wimbledon. She had lots of great ideas and paint tips for a family home and helped me turn my uncertain ideas into a confident colour plan for the entire house. I felt she understood my style and tastes very well and we have now begun (room by room) to put her ideas into practice. Nikki even had tips for choosing a carpet and a decorator too. Ann from Decorbuddi came to give me some ideas for updating our Victorian house and combining our antique furniture with some more modern pieces. She came up with some excellent suggestions which we have now implemented and are very pleased with the result.

Decorbuddi was an invaluable resource for me and proved to be of tremendous help for the 18 month restoration project of my Victorian home. After attending a bitesize interior design orientation course with the club, I had initial interior design help from Katie Hanna on an hour by hour basis. Through the DecorCafe network I subsequently employed lighting consultant Virginie Avrillon Dunne (A Splash of Light) and garden consultant Amy Hannigan to provide lighting and garden planting plans respectively. Great service provided by Tiffany Ring - the brief being to help me make some decisions on painting my living room, getting some built in shelving and purchasing a new sofa! I had ideas in my mind but needed confirmation that I was doing the right thing and some professional advice on what would and and wouldn't work. As I could hook up on a mail with Tiffany before our session she came armed with interesting ideas and post meeting kept in touch offering contact details for the various professionals that I needed. I felt I had been matched up with he right buddy for me - would advise anyone to give it a go!

Decor Cafe did good job guiding me through the many options for window dressing and helped me pick the right fabric. It was an easy process and any niggles have been promptly resolved.

The DecorCafe is such a brilliant model, offering as much or as little help and advice as you want -not only from interior design experts but from fellow home-makers! I joined last Autumn and have loved attending the Create your Home and Furniture Paint workshops, weekly drop-in sessions and monthly evenings with an expert. For now my projects have involved applying a bit of TLC on a budget, just to make the house liveable until we are ready to tackle the big renovation and building works...and for that I have been accumulating info, knowledge and ideas. Knowing where to turn to when the time comes, makes it all slightly less overwhelming!
