From planning to fitting, DAS did an amazing job of fitting my new kitchen. Actually this was my second kitchen from them having used them at a previous home. They offer a very bespoke service and are very customer facing. The team are so friendly and helpful and boy did I have lots of questions and queries! DAS took time to really listen and work with me on the initial design. They literally took my hand and guided me through the whole process. Various design options were produced for me to choose from. Extra details were added that I wouldn’t have even thought of such as designing the kitchen so that the units looked like they had been fitted into the wall. Before the final deadline DAS contacted me to check that I was happy with the initial colour and I was able to change my mine on the final colour after the order was placed. Hand was held when choosing worktops and splashbacks and DAS was extremely patient as I dithered over the many many different choices they offered. Nothing was too much trouble. Kitchen was delivered and fitted seamlessly. The quality German cabinets ( and they have loads and loads of choice) were extremely good value for money. I love my kitchen and that’s all down to DAS, their patience, eye for detail and passion.

Design A Space was recommended by our builder when we built our new home a couple of years ago. Marie, the Director/Designer, at once understood our brief and, keeping to our budget, designed a perfect kitchen that we have been delighted with ever since. She was always available for help and advice, and we also benefitted from her interior design expertise for the rest of the house (bathrooms, flooring, lighting and furnishings). Her fitters were professional and a pleasure to deal with. We cannot praise Design A Space highly enough.

Excellent service, friendly, professional and efficient staff. I had my kitchen done a few years ago and it’s still going strong. The units and worktops are high quality and there is a wide range to choose from. I was given excellent advice choosing appliances and they were competitively priced. The fitter was also very professional and my fully functioning kitchen was ready within the time frame quoted.

I Can’t recommend Design A Space enough .All the team were brilliant especially Maria the designer , she put together my perfect kitchen and bedroom . Thoroughly professional , minimal disruption when fitted by the brilliant Chris , a master craftsman , I really cannot rate them highly enough.

I bought a full Kesseler kitchen and utility room units and appliances from there at a cost of £40000 Whilst the manufacturer Kesseler did send 3 wrong colour doors and had to replace one unit to the retailer, once they started dealing directly with me they solved the issues promptly and efficiently with direct delivery to me and were helpful throughout the latter stages of the project even though normally they only deal with the retailer direct. Their units are fantastic top quality beautiful, strong,and well designed. l mistakenly thought the retailers shop (who are only an agent for Kesseler not owned or managed by Kesseler) being situated in an affluent area l would get a 5star service. l could not have been more wrong they are a total disgrace, minus 5 stars would be more appropriate. They are the worst most incompetent, unprofessional, unreliable suppliers and installers one of whom had total disregard for my property and new units, leaving tools directly on top of the new units without any covering, even a full saw with the blade left on a new unit. I have photographic evidence to back all of this up. Left total mess everywhere without bothering to clean up. Decided to drill holes with items in the cupboard making more unnecessary mess all over cooking accessories and a grill he could have asked me to take the items out or done it himself as their were only 3 items in the cupboard. Butchered sink units unnecessarily and fuse box cupboard making holes much larger than necessary. Surface mounted a socket in the sink unit which could easily have been put on the wall and would have been a much safer option rather than right under the sink pipes. Made a 1 inch hole for a tiny L.E.D cable which needed a maximum of a quarter of an inch hole. Never have I ever experienced in 40 yrs of involvement of refurbishment of different domestic and commercial premises such total incompetence, unnecessary delays disorganised company and total lack of respect for other people’s possessions. The lack of communication was incredible in not replying to phone calls . Average response every time was 2 to 3 days which is unacceptable. Many delays and excuses and blatant lies. The owner/director kept taking the fitter off my job and starting new jobs elsewhere sometimes only working on my project 1 day a week. In 14 days they came to work once. Sometimes came and worked 2 to 3 hours and left. Total lack of care and consideration. Design a space Insisted on me buying appliances from her and after 4 months she could not even source the oven or get an estimated delivery date which I ended up doing myself with in 1 hour with a next day delivery. Promised a timeline for work and continually broke it. Disgraceful attitude, left over 8 weeks without a usable kitchen. I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy. After 70 days the job is unfinished. These people are a total nightmare to deal with. Basically they have only 2 fitters

Setu provided us with an excellent interior design service. She helped us to work out whether we could make some changes to the existing layout of our home, or chose to have an extension, so that we could have a south facing kitchen diner, a utility and larger bedrooms for the kids. She spent time looking at our home, listening to our wish list and showing us other designs to show us what was achievable. She then spent time carefully measuring our home to provide us with existing plans and then three different new layout options. We met again to discuss all the options and take away the plans which she also emailed to us. We met on one final occasion to create a final design. Setu was at all times professional, knowledgeable, efficient but thorough and a good listener. She provided us with detailed plans which have definitely shown us what we can achieve with our home, whether we chose to have an extension or not. Thank you Setu!

We have recently worked with Setu Manani who is a Senior Interior Designer at Design A Space who are based in Amersham. The project involves the re-configuration of the existing ground floor area of our home. Setu was very professional, friendly and upfront with the costs and services that she could provide. We are in the process of obtaining quotations for the work based on her drawings, so there are no photos at present. The project should be complete by the end of the year. I would be quite happy to recommend Setu and her company to others.

Setu at Design a Space helped us with the layout of our house, we had lived at the property for 7 years and we had struggled to really find right idea of how to extend our house. With their help we received a layout for our new extension which really worked for us and our family, I would highly recommend this service if you are unsure of how to deign your extension or property.

We were looking for someone to help us make better use of our downstairs space and had spoken to architects, structural engineers and kitchen designers, but weren't entirely satisfied with the solutions any of them had come up with, so we decided to try an interior designer. We contacted Setu via Houzz and she came round to see us at home for our initial (free) consultation and was very helpful. When we gave her our brief it was an incredibly long list of 'must haves' and I was sceptical as to what was possible. But Setu produced 3 layout options for us, all of which ticked every box. Not only that, her suggestions were things we would never have thought of and were hugely superior to anything we'd considered previously. Even my sceptical husband was amazed. We are absolutely delighted with the service and output we got from Setu, and are very excited to embark on the next stage of the project, now feeling confident we have the best possibly solution to our brief. I cannot recommend Setu enough in this regard.

We received a very professional and efficient service from Design a Space; Setu listened carefully to our requirements and provided 3 designs which were very reflective of our brief. We were looking to open out our downstairs living area into an open plan kitchen / diner / living room. Having measured the space, Setu provided us with some great ideas about how the new space could look. There were quite a few constraints due to the existing layout of pipes / radiators etc. yet she still managed to put together a creative design which was aesthetically pleasing as well as practical. She also gave us a very useful 'project board' with ideas for furniture / decorations / layout which we loved.

From initial computer design stage with Maree to final fit, the process was surprisingly easy. We were definitely on a budget but Maree managed to give us everything we liked -induction hob, wine fridge, hidden recycling and pull out larder drawers and even a plate warming drawer which we use all the time. It was remarkable how close the refined computer simulation was to the actual finished kitchen. The fitters were helpful and professional, and accommodated our last-minute changes and integrated well with the other trades on site. The project was completed on time and on budget. We have already recommended InToto Amersham to friends and family.

I decided it was time to have the always wanted bespoke kitchen, I searched all the big names for weeks & finally decided to go to a small independent company as I felt that I would get better service & possibly better value, I chose In-toto in Marlow after visiting the showroom & speaking to the manager & designer there, a young trendy Italian called Francesco, I told him roughly what I was looking for & after a few days he produced computerised drawings which were exactly what I had in my head plus a few great ideas, I was given dates & coats & everything was spot on, we had one little mishap from the supplier in Germany but was soon put right, I now love my kitchen, it wasn't cheap and it wasn't expensive but it is quality & the first thing my friends mention when they visit me is "I love your kitchen, where did you get it from?" I can only highly recommend In-toto, not just for the quality of the kitchens but also as a small company who do exactly what it says on the tin ! I am so pleased I chose them rather than a big multiple.
